PEP tracks down Ruffa Gutierrez’s first husband, Richard Daloia

PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) users have asked the question “Who is Richard Daloia?” countless times.

YES! magazine’s July issue gives a background on Ruffa Gutierrez and her short-lived romance with first husband Richard Daloia as part of the 20-page article titled “Ruffa & Yilmaz: No fairy-tale ending.”

One of the sources said, “You know, that’s one thing about Ruffa that people don’t know. They say she goes for guys who are rich? No! She had many suitors, nakapila sila riyan. Very rich, ha? But she liked Richard. The guys she went out with were not rich—they were handsome! She likes them handsome!”

PEP also tracked down Richard through several leads. We ended up finding two telephone numbers, one in Chicago and the other in New York. We decided to call one of the numbers.

PEP: May I please speak to Richard Daloia?

Richard: Yes, speaking…

After our conversation with Richard, we came to one conclusion: How can you find a person who doesn’t want to be found?

Find out how our conversation with Richard went in the newest issue of YES! The number one entertainment magazine also answered why Ruffa kept her first marriage a secret and what the status of her divorce case is.

Also, YES! details Ruffa and Yilmaz’s relationship, including the alleged beatings and the reported escape from Istanbul.

“During the YES! interview, we tell Ruffa that some PEP readers don’t believe she’s a battered wife. An exasperated Ruffa raises her left leg, rolls up her jeans, and points to a number of marks. Our photographer takes a few quick shots, but a surprised, if cool, Ruffa looks up and tells him, ‘Huwag na muna…’”

  1. What the heck do they revive this story again? just to prove that ruffa is not after richness of a person? Come on….if ever, with this Richard there’s another hidden motives, that is what they should dig into, if ever they found out what it is…boom!!!! hot issue….

  2. dragon says:

so this Richard does not want to be found??! so how can she even file for divorce?

then, even more through all intents & purposes Loofah ruffa is ‘MARRIED TO HIM’ & her ‘marriage to Turkish is unlawful & totally illegal!

    what was she thinking???!!
hell, even Jackie Collins will scratch her head with this scenario– it boggles the mind anyone could be so dim-witted and so narcissisteic to think she will never be found out!

  3. if ever they track down Richard this will be another big source of publicity….tra.la.la.la., ruffa is in the limelight again, ang galing talaga ng mga resource person ni Ruffa. Magkano kaya ang finders fee nila?????????????

  4. dragon says:

ha.. ha.. so don’t tell me hollywood came knocking at her door as she announced they did recently. Hollywood does not like such baggage attach to anyone for starters.

anyway, it’s too late– if Hollywood beckoned for her it would have happened ages ago after that beauty contest.

Richard??? ha.. bet he’s got some dirt!

  5. dragon says:

for my last upshot about this Hollywood angle– it only told me one thing– loofah ruffa does not know– how Hollywood works– she won’t be saying such nonesense–if she did.

RICHARD.. RICHARD. WHERE ART THOU ,RICH-ARD???!!!

ha. doesn’t matter if he does not like to be found– but the LAW will.

ask Paris.. all the turk needs is a damn good expensive American lawyer & private detective– they’ll get him!

  6. Hi! Dragon, you got it bulls eye, Yilmaz is capable of doing that, now that he is quiet, the more that mangatooooooooog tuhod ng mag-ina and Ruffa knows that very well coz he’s unpredictable kaya she is always uneasy and so is her mother….i hope it will happen so more cobwebs will come into the open…to drag this mother and daughter to down, down, down, papalakpak talaga ako…..dahil vindicated uli ang mga Patay Gutom.

  7. dragon says:

    hola sunshine….

gee, I have to slow down & try to ‘read’ tagalog– wh I haven’t done in decades. ha… ha.. I am soooo out of practice– as I haven’t returned to Manila since we left it. but this ’sorry’ pathetic melodrama is certainly bringing me back– how ironic can this be?

ha.. loofah & barracuda have quieted d own bec they don’t know what hit them.

forget loofah’s pronouncements– her parents didn’t know she got married to this Richard– so??? how the hell will she explain her green card?

ha.. when she met turk they both saw huge $$$$$$’s signs– they assumed her first marriage will never see the light of day… why even that fancy wedding.. ha.. ha.. shows you– they are not bright!

loofah is so thick– I want to beat her up myself– & put some sense in her thick over ambitious skull–

it’s also not surprising Turk’s money came from ’shady’ means– & it’s obvious– it’s his father who holds the purse strings– he’s probably on allowance too– wh loofah only found out after their bogus wedding–she cannot shop till she drops in the world’s capitals as she assumed… why she became so dissilusioned with him–plus she couldn’t crack Istanbul society… ha.. ha.

I have lived in europe for ages, am now in US– I have come across & met a lot of these people across the board in their social standing– I will tell you right now– Loofah wouldn’t have ever made the grade nor turk… they can even more snobbish than the Brits– & I have dne my own bit with the upper classes too.

when my mother first told me about this– when she was still busy showing off about her wedding– told mother– I have never heard of the Bektas– otherwise, it would ring a bell– no wonder– drug money– they won’t be exactly accepted in polite society!

  8. Jackpot!!! Dragon, never heard of the family either, learned about them only on newspapers write up and it’s kinda not brillant coz their world is a different world…been to her house once but after that incident of shoot out i kept my distance, i met her only on some gatherings of common friends, and i saw a different R then coz she’s far from her Mom, that’s why i feel pity for her, it’s like the mother’s God is Money never mind the inflictions of that to her daughter….just hope R sees this and correct it just for the sake of her children….and for her own happiness and peace of mind.

  9. The danger is Ruffa’s Mom sees money not only on her and her siblings but there’s a twinkle! twinkle! little stars too to Ruffa’s chilldren. They are potential money making machine for her Mom, so if i were her the earliest possible is to break off the tie with her Mom, move to another place away from her mom and the father of her children and start a new life, my doubt is if she can detached herself to the glitter of showbiz life which ruined her own family after all.
