How green is green? My neighbor makes me sick!

I know I don’t have the best training when it comes to plants. I love plants and my mom had the blessing of a green thumb that whenever she plants anything, it grows to its fullest! She can pull a dry twig from a tree, put it in water and it will take root and flourish like it was The Creation! We had a garden while in the Philippines and boy, that garden was green!!

I tried to follow suit. Many times, I will try to plant something or even buy the best looking plant from a greenhouse just so that I am sure it will not die on me. FCOL, I kill cactus okay?!! I can never grown anything. My thumb could not be green. The most successful planting I did was when I planted Impatiens on the flower box I have on my porch last year. I could not believe how well that did. This year, I planted the same thing because it was proven that those things don’t really care much – they just grow. Guess what? It’s not growing! I was watering it day and night, putting plant/flower food to sustain it. NADA – - as in Ene, A, Da, A .

And now, I have a neighbor that has the same green thumb as my mom. This guy touches anything and it grows! He bought this small pot of geranium for a dollar. He placed it inside a cheap pot two days ago – and it’s freaking blooming already!! ARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!

Just look at his plants – - ohhhh – you don’t know how this bothers me!
