What would you do with your old CDs, DVDs, and books?
I thought about going into this business before. It was an idea I thought about – honest! I thought about it because I have lots of DVDs and CDs laying around with no purpose. I have not watched anything twice except for Pretty Woman and Steel Magnolias.
My CDs are all burned into my Ipod so there really is no need for me to play them. One day I was sitting around organizing my DVDs and CDS – and thought, “Wouldn’t it be great if I could just swap DVDs, CDs, video games and books with other people who have what I don’t have and in return, I may have something that they don’t have?”
Well, that was about two years ago. Now, someone has put the concept into reality. It is pretty neat.
A UK based swapping and exchange site has emerged [http://www.swapshop.co.uk] and it allows people to swap items for free rather than having any swapping charges.
You can swap DVDs, music, video games and books with no fees and you can list all of your items for free and listing items is very quick and easy.
There are 1000s of DVDs, video games, music CDs and books already listed on the site and 100s more are listed every day.
They use Swap Points so there is no need to wait to find someone with a matching swap as you get Swap Points whenever someone requests one of your items. You can then use these Swap Points to request any of the 1000s of items on the site.
It’s a great way to recycle your video game collection, update your music collection, watch more movies and get great books. And all of these for free. What are you waiting for?
