Received an email regarding Prison Inmates in Cebu perfoming Thriller by Michael Jackson
It was really perfect timing. I was just reading it the other night on Reyna’s blog entry and LMAO when I saw the Youtube videos of the Cebu Detention Center doing the Thriller, Radio Gaga and Sister Act. It was very entertaining. I even commented a few because of how hilarious and magnificent it is at the same time.
Here’s the email:

Subject: YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS – PINOY INMATES DO ‘THRILLER’Guys,
Kept giggling on the train to work this morning. The front page of the paper I was reading alerted me to page 3. Here’s the headline:
A Thriller in Manila! One ladyboy, 1,000 hardened prisoners, a Michael Jackson track…and one classic video*
The article was about the video from the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Centre, showing the prisoners’ remake of Michael Jackson’s thriller. It’s all part of their rehab activities.
It’s already number 1 on YouTube this week, and the 14th highest-rating of all time.
What will we think of next, I wonder.
