Why am I addicted to blogging…
I had a thought last night. I resisted Reyna Elena’s invitation for me to blog for a very long time. I remember how excited she gets whenever her ranking among Global Top Blogs or Top Pinoy Blogs would go up. It became a good source of stress-reliever for her. But for me, it was supposed to be a personal diary. I started my first blog way back on October 14, 2005 and I know how tedious and time-consuming it could be so I continued to resist Reyna on her request. I have had Google Adsense for along time as well that is running on my online store but I had nothing to show for it because I only have a few cents earned from that. Nothing exciting. And besides, I am still in school and really didn’t have the time to put into blogging.
Then, one AHA moment happened. I started visiting Reyna’s blog and started providing comments on her hilarious posts. I met some really good friends and I thought, it would be nice for them to get to know me as well so I started Chuvachienes.com.
In just a few weeks, after putting it up - my blog earned $6.43 USD from adsense which got me excited. Writing a blog can earn you money? I had no idea!! So, I started reading blogs after blogs and that’s where I discovered Shoemoney, John Chow, and Problogger. I saw that there was a potential to make this something that can earn me money while doing what I enjoy. I have been blogger ever since. There were lots to learn but I managed through the help of fellow bloggers.
My first revenue stream from blogging was Google Adsense. To date, I have earned $317.67. I am on my way to receiving my THIRD check from Google.
Then I started looking for other ways to create income. Remember, multiple streams of income means relying on many streams and not one sole revenue stream. I discovered Pay Per Post through Reyna’s blog so I applied. That was a very long time ago and I have even forgotten about it. Until, recently Diwa called me and ask me to apply because of the potential that she saw in earning $$ from writing. I tried to apply and it told me that I already have an existing account. I logged in only to find out that I have Opportunities (topics to write about) waiting for me. I chose a $6.00 opportunity and it was approved within days. That was the 8th of June. To date, my total potential earnings is up to approximately $600.00USD. All you need is a paypal account and you can get started today!
As time went on, I didn’t realize all the money-making opportunities I had signed up for when I started blogging. I discovered that I am also approved for Review Me! I have taken campaigns from $5.00 to $20.00 campaigns in the past. I have four of my blogs approved fore review me so I constantly have something to write about. What’s best about them is that they pay you monthly. Any posts that you did within the month that was approved will be paid for before the 4th of each month. That was cool too!
To date, I have been paid a total of $51.00 from Review me.
So, my question is - what are you waiting for? I have a few responses on my poll that says they want to earn money while blogging. Let’s get started peeps!! There are lots of money to be made and I am not kidding!!

I have a niece that is turning seven next month. I have given her toys after toys after toys. It has become so monotonous for her that every time she opens her gifts for her birthday, she looks at me, kisses me on the cheek and says ‘Thanks Uncle!’ without any excitement.
I have been looking for a way to make gift giving more interesting. I have 27 nephews and nieces. Yes, granted that most of them are all grown up but I do have little ones still. The Nick Nolte camp says that everything is fine and that there isn’t anything serious going on according the ET Online’s website. They say that Nick is currently in Hawaii getting ready to film ‘Tropic Thunder’ with Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey, Jr.
Nolte was arrested for drunk driving back in 2002 and spoke to ET about his substance problem.

I thought about going into this business before. It was an idea I thought about - honest! I thought about it because I have lots of DVDs and CDs laying around with no purpose. I have not watched anything twice except for Pretty Woman and Steel Magnolias.
My CDs are all burned into my Ipod so there really is no need for me to play them. Sister: Death of Strunk an accident, not suicide
Nida Blanca’s husband Roger “Rod” Strunk likely died more from an accident than from suicide, Strunk’s sister told a California newspaper on Saturday (US time).
Strunk’s sister Sharry Grove told Tracy Press that suicide was not something Strunk was likely to do.
“That wouldn’t have been something that Roger would have done … We really feel like it would have been an accident,” she said.
Grove said that it makes no sense that her brother would try to commit suicide by jumping from a second-story balcony, a drop of about 20 feet.
“I don’t know how they came up with that. That would be very out of character for my brother,” she said. Read more

Individuals usually listen to their own music. They are actually artistic individuals with lots of diverse interests as well.
Gothic dating has become very popular and its a way for goths to meet people with the same interests as they have. It is no longer to be viewed as people who believe in horror, the supernatural, and darkness. They are individuals who have chosen a certain genre that fits their moods and their lifestyle. I personally think it’s cool to meet people of gothic subculture. We learn a lot of unique cross-sections of the culture and guess what? They are nice people too!

Lindsay Exits Rehab, Celebrates in Vegas
The 21-year-old completes a stay at a treatment facility before heading to Vegas.
LINDSAY LOHAN has completed rehab at Promises treatment facility in Malibu, CA.
Her rep, LESLIE SLOANE, confirms to ET that Lindsay has not only completed her time in rehab, she has voluntarily agreed to wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet if she chooses to go to places where alcohol is served.
Sources tell ET that Lindsay spent her first weekend out of treatment in Las Vegas, and that she attended a party at PURE nightclub on Saturday night. At the club, she drank energy drinks and water and hung out with CRISS ANGEL, LAUREN CONRAD and BRODY JENNER, before departing with Angel.
Lindsay entered rehab in late May on the heels of reports that she was out on the town less than 48 hours after being cited for investigation of driving under the influence, when police reported that she had been slightly injured upon crashing her Mercedes into a curb. It was the second time this year the young star had been to rehab.
Lindsay recently celebrated her 21st birthday at a beachside home in sunny Malibu, reported People magazine.
The mag reports that Lindsay, during a furlough from her stay at the Promises rehab facility in Malibu, celebrated with her one-time boyfriend CALUM BEST, her brother DAKOTA, 11, sister ALI, 13, and her mom DINA.
Many of the guests dined on barbeque fare and listened to music like BEYONCÉ’s “Irreplaceable” while relaxing outside on sofas and lounge chairs under large umbrellas.
The bikini-clad birthday girl wasn’t only receiving gifts but giving them as well. According to the magazine, the starlet’s bodyguard brought cheese and pepperoni pizzas to the photographers who showed their gratitude by yelling in unison: “Thank you, Lindsay!”
The star has been spotted out and about in the L.A. area recently, shopping, enjoying dinners with friends, or attending local AA meetings.
Latinas - what are they all about?
I have always wanted to blog about my neighbor Steve. He lived to the home next to mine for approximately four years and we had the best of time. He knew that I am gay and welcomed my friends with an open heart. Him and his girlfriend would always have something for me when they travel on vacation specially when holidays came around, I would come home and gifts would be sitting at my doorstep.
One thing that I wasn’t sure about Steve is that he was into Latinas. I would always ask him why he was with his girlfriend, who is blond and has green eyes. His response was not as inspiring. “She is there for me.”, would be his usual answer.
Then, he received a job offer to move to California. As you know, there are lots of possibilities for a latina romance on the West Coast. He eventually moved and left his blond girlfriend behind. They broke up and finally, Steve was ready for some “latina dating”. He used to call me and tell me how happy he was moving to San Diego. He was dating a Latina girl named Maria from Las Vegas at the time. But he said, it was purely for fun. Then, there was Claudia, Rosa and many others.
Recently, I received a phone call from him and he told me about the new place that he bought in San Diego. He rented the condo that he purchased two years ago, and bought another one for a whopping $750K! And guess who moved in with him? Claudia. I met Claudia once when they visited the East Coast last year. She is gorgeous and believe me when I say gorgeous - I may be gay but I’m not blind.
I am happy for him. He used to moan and groan about his relationship with the blond girl. Now, I don’t hear that anymore. All because of a little latina romance.
Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim declares Nida Blanca murder case closed

Do you have a teenager at home?
There is an alarming article that I read the other day. I read that the statistics for teens using drugs or alcohol is not only on the rise, but the target victims are getting younger and younger. The amount of drug use in middle schools and high schools are pretty high and stats show that if we don’t take a hold of it today, it could continue to rise.
According to the article, the illicit use of drugs since 2003 are as follows:
* 8th grade — 30.3%
* 10th grade — 44.9%
* 12th grade — 52.8%
52.8% for 12th graders!! What would compel teenagers to use drugs at a level this high? Is it the parenting? Is it their peers? I’m absolutely sure that both contributes to the issue. Parents most especially have to understand the underlying reasons why children are pushed to using drugs. Lack of information is one, and lack of conversation is another.
That is why there is Teen Help. It is a website full of information about teen issues, tips for parenting teens, how to motivate them and so forth. They offer free parenting handbook that could assist parents in making decisions, how to communicate the ills of using drugs to their children and provide resource books that would explain why their children act the way they act.
Teen Help also offers support for parents and it lists them by category, by state. Parents can find comfort with other parents going through the same issues with their children.
I believe that parents need not stand back and watch anymore. It’s time to get involved. Communication is key. Visiting Teen Help could be a start. Why not start now?

Hi everybody,
Thanks for joining me on davidbeckham.com – it does seem incredible that in all my time playing professional football, I haven’t had my own website.
So here it is at last.
It also gives me the perfect opportunity to say goodbye to all my friends in Spain. After four years in Madrid, I’d just like to say thank you to the people there and Real Madrid fans for being absolutely incredible, not only to me, but to my family as well. I was so happy to be able to leave having given the fans something to celebrate by helping to win La Liga.
I am now moving on to an exciting new challenge at the LA Galaxy. So far, everyone has been amazing, and my family and myself have been made to feel extremely welcome. I now have a great opportunity to raise the profile of football in America, (or soccer I should say!) and that’s something I’m genuinely excited about.
Meanwhile, I’ll do my best to keep you updated with everything that’s happening whilst I am playing in the States.

Uncertain on how true the story was on a forwarded email to me - I looked it up. Indeed it is true. Please read the facts about Warren Buffett below. You will be surprised. It is undoubtedly inspiring to say the least.
There was a one-hour interview on CNBC with Warren Buffet, the second richest man who has donated $31 billion to charity.
Here are some very interesting aspects of his life:
1) He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering
newspapers.
2) He still lives in the same small 3-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha ,
that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has
everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a
fence.
3) He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or
security people around him.
4) He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world’s largest
private jet company.
5) His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only
one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals
for the year. He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis.
6) He has given his CEOs only two rules. Rule number 1: do not lose any
of your shareholder’ s money. Rule number 2: Do not forget rule number 1.
7) He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time,
after he gets home, is to make himself some pop corn and watch
television.
8.) Bill Gates, the world’s richest man met him for the first time only 5
years ago. Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with
Warren Buffet. So he had scheduled his meeting only for half an hour.

Of metal pegboards and tools
One very thing I hate is working on a home project only to spend half of my time looking for the tools that I need in order to complete the project. Cleaning and tidying up the garage is a tedious task. Organizing is hard enough, let alone storing tools in place and keeping it there. It is always a challenge when you have nowhere else to place your tools to keep them organized. This is when I started looking into metal pegboard. Generally, pegboards come in wood but is now also available in metal. It can be mounted on spacers a little in front of a wall and the holes used to accept metal pegs to support various items, such as light tools in a small hobby den or items for sale in a shop.
Pegboard is a brand name of this material, and is often used as a generic term for it.
Having metal pegboard have changed the way I organize my garage completely! There are no tools laying around that is not only unsafe, but untidy as well. I keep my drills, wrenches, hammer, screwdrivers and all that up and safe on the pegboard. It definitely looks organized and neat. What’s more? I can find my tools easily instead of looking through a toolbox.
I have installed the metal pegboard and have organized them as well. Are you wondering what a metal pegboard looks like and what it is?

Philadelphia International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival 2007

It’s on!! The Philadelphia International GLBT Film Festival kicked off yesterday. There are about 166 films entered this year. Every year, Filipinos (gay pinoys that is) from the area look for the Philippine entry. This year, the entry is Pantasya, directed by Brilliante Mendoza. Fortunately, when I went home a couple of months ago, I was already able to obtain the DVD and have seen the movie.
I would highly recommend it. It is a collection of short films about M2M fantasy. I thought it was done quite well. If you haven’t seen the film, I urge you to watch it. My favorite? Phone Line (Linya). You have to see it to appreciate it.

Wanting a better smile…
I thought of having my teeth whitened while I was in Asia as I heard that it much more reasonable to have it done there than here in the U.S. due to cost.
