Every year, fun loving, fearless females eagerly await the September issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine with its overload of men, men, and more men. Together with 69 Bachelors, the September issue also showcases the top 10 celebrity Centerfolds for the year.
Featured on the cover of the special supplement this year is Dingdong Dantes, who projects a bolder and more mature image with his portrayal of Sergio in GMA-7’s primetime hit Marimar. According to the Cosmo team, Dingdong had no inhibitions—considering it was his first time to shoot a sexy pictorial—and was very professional and outgoing.
Also considered very outgoing during his shoot was Jake Cuenca, star of ABS-CBN’s primetime Sine Serye: Natutulog Ba ang Diyos?, a joy to work with. Joining Jake in the list is Derek Ramsey, Ysabella mainstay and U Can Dance host, who happens to be the current squeeze of former FHM covergirl, Angelica Panganiban.
Rising stars also make it to the list, such as Marvin Raymundo of Star Magic, Joem Bascon of the ABS-CBN youth-oriented sitcom Go Kada Go and primetime hit Walang Kapalit, and SOP Showboys mainstay Bruno Folster
Completing the list are Bench endorser Jon Avila, model Luke Jickain, Alfred Vargas of GMA-7’s primetime hit Impostora, and Paolo Paraiso, who stars with Asia Agcaoili in the upcoming movie Casa.
The special Cosmo Men supplement comes free with the September issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine, which features Jessica Alba on the cover, now available in all leading bookstores and magazine stands nationwide at P150 per copy.
Aprons Aprons Aprons – - I really need one!
I love to cook and sometimes, I cook with my best clothes on when friends pay an impromptu visit to my house. You see, my house is like Grand Central Station. People meet here to go somewhere, or people just come here to talk to laugh and I enjoy that very much. There are times that I want to cook for them and there is no time to change my clothes. I just cook wearing exactly what I wore when they saw me.
The problem with that is, my clothes get ruined most specially if I have to fry something. The oil sticks to the clothing longer than anything that you could possibly remove by a simple detergent. I always thought that the next time, I will buy me kitchen aprons. It is there and available to protect your clothing and you could get it in different designs!!
I remember a buddy of mine who’s a little hefty, used an apron with a muscular guy imprinted on it. It was hilarious. I do go for the more traditional stuff though. I can’t be crazy like that even though it’s pretty funny.
Hopefully, someone will give me one this Christmas. Make it interesting though. It’s not everyday I get to wear an apron. Prices are reasonble as well. Please get me some kitchen aprons now!!

Do you run a small business? Need a breather?
I never thought that the telephone answering service will survive. With all the automated voicemails, call forwarding, call waiting functions and cell phones – you would think a telephone answering service would be considered passe.
No-siree-bob!! My nephew’s wife works as a manager for a telephone answering service in Aberdeen, Maryland and she tells me that they are not about to go away. I know that there are a lot of call centers being placed in countries where the labor is cheaper but at times, the service is not as efficient. There are still language barriers in some countries and if you are not used to listening to a foreign accent, it could be quite difficult. She tells me that she is hiring because the need is greater than the supply. I thought, “Hmmm – - it could be a good business to be in even with all the competition from overseas”.
One of the companies here in the U.S. is called 1-800 We Answer Answering Service. It is a is a full service telecommunications company providing a complete range of telephone answering, call center, fax, mail, virtual office, telemarketing and phone system services to businesses and individuals. Our professional, courteous live operators are located in the heart of Manhattan. We are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and offer professional script writing tailored to your individual business. Our Voicemail Services guarantee you will never miss another call or message again while our Mail Service can provide your business with a prestigious Manhattan address. 1-800 We Answer Phone Systems division will install and service telephone systems of any size to fit your business needs. 1-800 We Answer Telemarketing division generates leads to grow your business. 1-800 We Answer Answering Service has satisfied thousands of clients for over 35 years with outstanding, award winning telecommunications services.
If you have a small business where there is a need for a 24 hour service, you might want to consider a telephone answering service. Running a small business is hard enough, having a telephone answering service might just give you the breather that you so desperately need.

State of “Make Money While Blogging” Address
It has been several months (three months to be exact), when we discovered several revenue-making sites that I could incorporate to my never-ending quest to make money while blogging. Once the blog traffic arrived, I applied to several “Pay Per Post” sites. Here are a few of them:
1) Pay Per Post
2) Review Me
3) Sponsored Reviews
And of course, Google Adsense.
Income from Pay Per Post since June 8th: $744.66 already paid with $223.42 waiting to be paid.
Income from Review Me since July 6th: $186.00 already paid with $205.00 waiting to be paid (August 6th)
Income from SponsoredReviews: $26.65 already paid with $0.00 waiting to be paid (I haven’t received much advertiser acceptance. This is a bidding process)
Income from Google Adsense since the beginning of my blogs: $328.99 already paid and $33.39 banked towards the next payment (hopefully in two months!)..
I have banked in total: $1,286.30 with $500.00 something for the next paycheck. Not bad ay?! If you are serious enough, you will be as lucky as I am and this is not full time yet. Could you imagine if I blogged full-time?!
I’m going to get there… I promise!
Planning a family reunion this Labor Day
I see my family rarely these days. With work, school, blogging and other extra curricular activities – it’s really hard to find time to get away and see them. You see my family is divided between Maryland and New York. I am the only one in the middle (New Jersey). I am going back to school again in two weeks and I probably won’t see them for a few months after Labor Day.
My brother’s birthday is today and we are going to celebrate his birthday at a rented hall in New York. I created a short movie about his life and I would like to show it during the party. The party will somewhat be a birthday slash reunion since we all are very busy and we only get to see each other on big celebrations such as this one. If I was going to show the movie, I needed a projector to project the images on the wall. I don’t own one and I am not about to bring my flat screen TV all the way to New York and use it for this purpose.
As I am always online, I searched for LCD projectors and tried to find out if I could rent one. Well, well, well – - Tallahassee Projector Rental was a god-send! Instead of me buying one, I could actually rent one. What’s great is that even with short-notice, they can overnight the projector to you via Fedex! That just saved my day. They have all sorts of LCD projectors available for rent and let me tell you – - I can’t wait for the weekend. This is going to be an exciting event and I don’t want to miss the opportunity to show them old pictures and short movies. I’m sure, this is going to make my brother cry. That was the plan!
Thank you Tallahassee Projector Rental !!!
Merry Christmas? No, it’s not too soon.
I can’t believe it… summer is over and the holiday season is just a few months away! After labor day, holidays will come like a thief in the night. Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and before you know it, you’ll be stuffing stockings! I like shopping early because I don’t want to get caught in the madness of holiday shopping. For over five years now, I do all my shopping online. No long lines at the cashier, no waiting for a sales person – - you just click and go!
I have a secret though. I don’t like spending that much! I do buy quality things but paying premium price is not my thing. As you all know, I blog to make money. I like saving money. For that reason, I use Coupon Chief. It has most of the stores that I visit anyway, like Target or Pet Food Direct for my friends who are animal lovers.
I used to shop for my boyfriend (ooops, it’s ex-boyfriend now), and he loves Banana Republic. I usually get 15% off or free shipping on already reduced prices. What is there to lose? You save money, you avoid the hassle of going through crowds at the mall – and best of all, you have all these choices of stores and shops that offer what you’re looking for. Most of the time, it’s even tax-free!
CouponChief.com is a wholly owned subsidiary of Coupon Chief, Inc. Here at Coupon Chief, they strive to provide a one stop coupon deal and discount resource for their Web site visitors. Their focus on customer support and providing up to date coupon codes and promotional deals and discounts is unparalleled in the online shopping e-commerce industry.
So why not try it? All you will get is more money in your pocket and happy people in your family circle because they don’t know that you got the best for a bargain.
Bonding… Whew – - I think this is too much!
It was a good day today.
So, she started in the kitchen. She washed the dishes and swept the floor. Maya maya, inaabot na sakin yung pledge. Magpunas punas na raw ako ng mga ibabaw! Aba – demanding! Ako naman, dahil nga away tumanga at mag-isip . . . Go na lang ng Go! Guess what? After a few minutes, I find myself vaccumming and mopping the floor sa living room while she cleans the bathroom. Habang hinihintay naming matuyo yung floor, yosi kami sa labas. Kuwentuhan, charingan. Tuwang tuwa ang katulong ko!!! Ang linis linis daw ng bahay!
Pero heto ang nadiskubre ko. Do you remember when she didn’t live with me, I hired her to clean my house every two weeks. Sabi ko kapag aayain niya akong maglinis, I will make sure na MALINIS! Akala ko pa man din OC tong chimini-a-ang ito! Hmmmp!
In fairness – enjoy kami. After ng linis, nag-ayaan na kaming kumain sa diner. Malinis ang bahay, nag-bonding pa kami. Hmmmm – - ang bango ng bahay!!!
The moral of the story is, kapag mag-ha-hire kayo ng cleaning lady, make sure na nandoon kayo sa bahay habang nag-lilinis! Naisahan pala ko! Hmmp!!! %^&*()_ BLAG^&*()!
Voice Messaging Marketing Technology? What is it?
Have you heard of the new trend in marketing called Vontoo voice messaging? It’s a way to market a product or a service by using your own voice to deliver your message. All you do is create your marketing material using your voice, send it and track it! What am I saying, you ask.
Voice messaging technology allows you to create a very personal ad campaign. Just imagine the power of branding. If Brad Pitt called you and said that you have to try the new protein shake that he uses to keep him lean, provide him energy to work out and stay lean – wouldn’t you try it? Maybe not but more than likely you might. Why? Because it’s Brad Pitt!
Why Voice Messaging? Using Voice over IP technology enables organizations or companies to create, send, and track voice messages to people who want to hear from them. It’s not one of those annoying telemarketing calls because the people that will be called are those only that opted-in. It is permission-based, opt-in, opt-out technology. The messages will be delivered to only the people that want to hear about them.
what more? It has the ability to transfer calls instantly. You can transfer the calls to your ticket office or your service lines, or forward it to other contacts that would complete your transaction. You can record your voice using your telephone, no software is required. You are also provided with tracking reports to monitor which calls actually reached a real person, and know exactly how long the person receiving the call listened to your message. Not only that, you can even do this in real time or on a scheduled fashion.
If you have a product or service to offer – get on the bandwagon on this brand new technology and turn your product or service into a sale.
Mas matalino pa yata to eh?! =)

I want to have sex like a man – no strings, no commitment…
Today was a lazy Sunday. After going to mass my maid, her girlfriend and I went to a friend’s house to partake of ’sinigang na baboy’ and ‘galunggong’ which was sumptuous by the way and then afterwards had cheese and crackers with a bottle of wine while watching “Sex and the City”.
I have never seen an episode of “Sex and the City” although friends of mine have been bragging about the show for quite some time now. We started with disc one and I am hooked. I felt every word, every comment and every entry she made for her column. Carrie Bradshaw sounded like my new heroine. Wisdom, I thought could never come from a television series. But at this stage in my life, everything rang true.
My recent breakup with my boyfriend of four years triggered me to listen to Carrie’s so-called wisdom. It was a time when her friends decided that they will try to have sex with men exactly how men sleep with women. Emotions detached – no strings, no commitments. Carrie’s experience was an experiment. She hooked up with her ex and after she was done, the guy – expecting her to reciprocate – was left unaided. She felt powerful and independent.
My problem at the moment is that I cannot sleep with anyone without thinking of my ex. I can’t even fathom sleeping with anyone right now. It’s too raw. The emotions are still strong. Of course there are online chatrooms and hook-up sites but that’s not where I am. I seem to think that if I do that, I will be cheating. Yes, cheating on him. Some friends say that it will be the biggest F***K YOU if I do that just to get back at him. It doesn’t seem to ring true for me. I feel as if it would lower me down to a level I cannot go.
They say that when you meet people, it doesn’t matter how brief and it doesn’t matter what the circumstances are… that person will remain with you forever. I agree (unless I’ve had 14 apple martinis at a club where nobody knows my name!). So, for me – to have a hook-up without the emotion or the level of understanding between two consenting adults that it is what it is – is a total loss of self-worth and self-confidence.
Yes, I do want to have sex like a man… no strings, no commitment. But not yet.
Coming home from my friend’s house, we were listening to Regine’s album. I almost cried but I didn’t. Just when that happened, my maid pointed to a street sign – - it said – NEW FREEDOM ROAD. I am free now and I should be able to let go. But I still can’t. I didn’t ask for this freedom to begin with! But will he say that he loves me? I will never hear these words uttered from his lips again… or will I?

Diana’s legacy is that she still inspires us all, by Gordon Brown
All of us remember where we were on that fateful day, August 31 1997, when we heard that Diana, Princess of Wales was dead.
And as long as we live, all of us will never forget the shock felt by a whole nation.
Now, ten years after her untimely death, she still has the remarkable ability to move and inspire.
In life, she was an extraordinary woman who gave hope to those she met and whose lifetime of service touched the lives of millions in this country and around the world.
Today, I want to pay tribute to the enormous contribution she made to this country, her lasting legacy, and to celebrate the work that continues in her name.
In 1997, I was honoured to be asked to chair the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Committee and I recall particularly her work with children.
The committee was determined to commemorate that work through projects such as the playground in Kensington Gardens, the Memorial Walk through the Central London Royal Parks and the establishment of the Diana, Princess of Wales Children’s Community Nursing Teams.
But perhaps the project that she would have loved most was the creation of the Diana Award for Young People, which celebrates courage, commitment, compassion and service to others demonstrated by people aged 12 to 18.
In less than a decade, these awards have celebrated the work of, and given encouragement to, more than 19,000 young people.
I remember giving the award to Liam Fairhurst, who has fought cancer in his leg and lungs and who bravely raised thousands of pounds for cancer research in memory of a friend who died. Read more
Katie blames Tom Cruise’s snoring for sleeping in separate bedrooms
It’s an age old problem, and many a wife has suffered because of it – but not Katie Holmes.
Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes are reported to sleep in separate bedrooms, so she doesn’t have to suffer his snoring.
A source told US magazine, Star: “It’s a situation that works for both of them”.
“In fact, they even joke about having separate bedrooms to their friends – Katie says Tom snores, and this way she can get her beauty sleep!”
“Of course they spend time together alone at night like most married couples; after all, they conceived Suri!”
Apparently, the couple have had the same setup since the very beginning of their relationship, when Holmes moved into their first home – Cruise’s rented Beverly Hills estate – in the spring of 2005 after a whirlwind courtship.
The source added: “At first, it was because Katie was Catholic and single, and they were only dating. It was the proper thing to do.”
She continued: “Now that they are married, they don’t feel the need to alter the arrangement. Tom has his master bedroom, and Katie has hers.”
Another source claimed: “When Katie moved into the house, it was made clear that Tom occupied the north wing of the second floor and that she would occupy a cluster of suites on the south wing of the same floor.
“Katie wanted to make herself feel at home, and she insisted on remodeling her area, which consisted of a study, parlor and large bedroom suite.
“Over the course of several months, Katie created a larger space to have as her own. In the end, she designed the room of her dreams, a very feminine room painted in pastel colors, with a small carousel and filled with many stuffed animals.” Read more
Rutgers University – Here I Come!
After a long stint at Camden Community College, I have now completed my Associates Degree in Business Administration. I thought that I would stop there. Going to school while working full time is really taking a toll on me. Yet, I applied at Rutgers anyway. I was recently accepted and most of my credits from CCC was accepted. I’m thinking I still have five semesters to go to reach my goal of having a Bachelor’s Degree. Lucky for me, my tuition is paid for by my company.
My friend who’s going to get his bachelor’s degree in Spring 2008 is a young student living on his own and considered an out-of-state student at Rutgers because his parents live in California. His tuition is double the tuition that in-state students pay. However, he just told me today that he received financial aid most recently that will cover his tuition until his completion next year. I am impressed with him because he knows all the ropes in obtaining financial aid and applying for grants. He was also telling me about the different types of loans available for students. One such loan is the federal parent plus loan . As long as your parents have a good credit history or if they know of someone (a family friend who will endorse the loan as a co-signer), you should be able to obtain a parent plus loan.
The criteria to obtain one depends on a credit check. Parents must pass the credit check in order to obtain the loan. The interest is variable but it is not to exceed 9%. It is adjusted every year on July 1st and your parents will receive notification of the interest changes.
The interest rate are usually low and they have a very favorable repayment terms. Your parents could actually borrow up to 100% of your estimated cost of college attendance. It can also include your books, living expenses, room and board and transportation expenses.
It is dependent on any financial aid that you receive. If you receive let’s say 6,000USD in financial aid and your total tuition costs 12,000USD – Plus loans will grant you only the remaining balance which is 6,000USD. What’s good about it is, federal parent plus loan are not need-based unlike scholarships and grants. The interest on plus loans is also tax-deductible.
So, if you’re serious about going to college and obtaining a bachelor’s degree, there are many options to choose from. Don’t worry about the money because help is always available. Unless you are in a position like me where my work pays for my tuition, you should look into it if your goal is to obtain a bachelor’s degree faster that it took me.

One sport I wished I had learned but never did..Skateboarding
I am not a sports-minded person anyway. I just like watching football just because.
I did get into baseball when I lived in Maryland but even that was just a phase for me. One thing that I did want to learn was skateboarding. I remember my teenage crush, (one of my barkadas) way back when. He used to glide smoothly on his skateboard and boy he moved with so much ease. I never learned it. To this day, I will hop on one of my nephews’ skateboard and I just couldn’t get how they balance and turn – - whew!
I don’t know if I remember it correctly but in the Philippines, I would accompany him to Cartimar at times to buy skateboard parts. I don’t believe it was sold piece meal but rather as complete skateboards. Here in the States, you have to option to pick and choose the pieces and put them together just like what we do with bikes in Manila.
You can purchase them as complete skateboards or assemble them yourself picking the board – whether you like it with a longer deck or the classic pintail deck is up to you. It also varies by size – from 38 inches to 44 inches and so forth. I had no idea that there are so many choices. There are element skateboards, baker skateboards and simply complete skateboards. I, of course would normally opt for the complete one because I can’t figure out assemblies. But other people might like to put their skateboards together and you can do that too!
It is really a true sport here in the U.S. – they get geared up for it, they run professional competitions. There are so many brands to choose from! Surf One, Vinaka, Barfoot, Black Label – - the list goes on and on.
I wish I had learned it while I was younger. Maybe I could have joined my crush at the park a lot! [-O< So, if I were you and you have the chance to do it now.. go for it. Learn it while you have the strength.
Do not chastise Malu Fernandez, she was definitely joking.
I was blog hopping the other night and found the article “From Boracay to Greece” by Malu Fernandez that infuritated Filipino bloggers worldwide, most especially the OFW’s whom she insulted on her write-up. I was affected by it as well and although I am not an OFW, I have very close friends who are. To say the least, I was a bit annoyed. Hate would be too big to use because she did, and I’m sure of it – mean it as a joke.
Why am I certain of that? I’m an 80s kid and you all certainly remember Donya Buding. A comedienne by art, her character to be a rich, famous, and elite Donya was hilarious and very entertaining. She used the poor to create her persona. She would make fun of the have-nots and I found it very funny!! Actually, a lot of people did!! I used to wait for her ’skit’ on ‘Penthouse Live’ every Sunday evening and laugh my arse off! To tell you the truth, if I was reading Malu’s article under a different pretense, I would probably be on the floor hyperventilating in laughter.
What is the difference between the two? Nothing. They both stated their statements to be funny. The only thing that separates them is that Donya Buding is/was a comedienne – - Malu Fernandez, on the other hand is not although she may have thought that she is. The damage has been done and Malu Fernandez like Ruffa Gutierrez, or O.J. Simpson will move on and go on with their lives. I also understand that she has apologized and tendered her resignation (still awaiting confirmation).
I am gay, and gay jokes can be harsh. If you’ve hung out with gay guys and hear the way we insult (in jest) other people – you will probably send us all packing as well! We say these things to be funny and we laugh about it when it is funny. And don’t get me wrong because I understand what happened fully. It’s like Malu made a joke about a gay person dying of AIDS, and to me – that is not funny. But it was a joke and I may be annoyed at first but I am willing to let it go. Just don’t do it again and we’ll be fine. I am not being self-righteous here.. just stating what I would do if I’m offended by something.
So come on guys – - let it go. She made a mistake, she apologized. This is not a witch hunt. Let’s welcome her back and let this be for her, a GREAT lesson learned.
An excellent movie that I recommend for this is “PRIEST“. The movie climaxed at the end wherein through the silence of both victims (the priest and the girl), they understood each other’s pain. Very moving – - – rent it this weekend!
Cheers everyone!!
A Love Story – Maricel Soriano, Aga Mulach, Angelica Panginiban
The movie is a huge success…

Jason Diva – - Regine Velasquez – - Amazing!
I was browsing on You Tube and stumbled upon this talent. A talent so raw that it actually made my heart skip a beat. I collected the videos (thanks to Jason’s friends who uploaded the amateur videos and to Kazumi who uploaded the Showbiz Central videos).
NEVER EVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER, CAUSE JASON IS NOT A BOOK!
Follow the videos – -
It started here – - a very humble beginning…a simple Jason DIVA from Iligan City with a simple adoration for his idol Regine Velasquez. He admired his idol so much that he imitated every single note, song and talent…
His friends took amateur videos of his performances and posted it on You Tube – -

Who invented Thoof? Someone stuck in the 90s?
I’m all for setting up a business and I know how it is trying to come up with a catchy name. There is the process of picking a logo and then marketing your business. That is why I’m making fun of the new personalized news website where bloggers can find content. Yes, you can actually grab your content from this website because they provide you the source and the articles so we won’t see you with Lindsay Lohan behind bars because of copyright infringement. It’s called Thoof! What was that name from? From an early 90s rap music, “Thoof there it is!”? Or, does the person like soybeans? Thoofu? Or could it be that he is a fan of King Thoof? Or a fan of Peter, Paul and Mary’s Thoof! The Magic Dragon?
You know what I like about it? It’s very catchy! Thoof! is easy to remember, and it’s either you hate it or you love it but you would still remember it. Am I right? Sheesh, if I can only think of something to name my business other than Rainbowreels… it would be Thoofercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Whatever it is, it’s great to have a site to visit for content. Blogging for money is not that easy after all but hey, if you have free content – Why not?
The big toss-up: Grandfather or Mantle Clock?
Seth Thomas. The clock that hung our wall by the staircase while I was growing up. It will probably fetch a fair amount in an auction house if it ever gets sold. My understanding is that it is an heirloom from my grandfather. It has a winding key, and the clock reads perfect time every time as long as it is wounded. Although, I think one of my aunts claimed the clock when we moved overseas. Shucks.
I am a clock admirer because of that. I have seen many types of clocks including cuckoo clocks. My ultimate dream however is to own a grandfather clock. I have a friend who bought one recently and just imagining how the chime would ring inside my home makes me want to get one. Did you know that they come with different types of chimes? I had no idea until I started looking into it. If you are a clock collector, you may want to get in touch with other people who has the same interest through an online blog. You can discuss the make, models and types of clock available in the market today. Some clocks could be very expensive and there were times that I thought it would be best for me to just get a mantle clock but I am really in love with granfather clocks.
New clocks could also be as special and as charming. They have newer versions of clocks that also produces chimes similar to the mantle clocks and grandfather clocks. A wide variety of brands such as Kieninger, Movado, or Howard Miller design clocks are also available. If you are an avid clock collector like me, you may want to pay a visit to Clocks at 1-800-4CLOCKS and look around. Who knows, they just might have what you’re looking for!
Blogging for eight months… where to find content?
I’ve been blogging actively for a while now. It has been eight months since I started this blog (actually longer than that but I wasn’t serious back then). I can only talk about myself so much and at times, I’d rather just sit back and blog hop. Just like everything else, you go through moods. Sometimes I could write about anything and everything under the sun – at times, I just feel like, “Come on!!”
It would be good to know for bloggers out there that a site exists where you can find and create Personalized News. Yes! It is like an aggregated content of everything and anything that you can think of. Depending on your mood, you should be able to find the content you need. And yes, they even provide you with the source so there is no copyright infringement whatsoever. So, when you start seeing posts in my blog that is of interest and you want to track back or simply copy it – just look at the bottom of the post – I always give credit to my sources.
Personalized News is a great way to enhance your blog. If you don’t feel like writing – - copy and paste. You will always have the source provided anyway – - so go ahead. I love blogging!
Electronic Gadgets for Penny Pinchers
Are you a gadget person? I am. I want the latest and greatest gadget out there. The only problem is, I don’t want to pay for it at a premium. I always search for the bargain price because why would I pay more if I could get it for less? I’m not being a cheap skate here.. I work hard for my money and I want to spend it as wisely as I can.
If you are one looking for bargains on electronics, there is a new website that has been criticized before saying that their goods are stolen or refurbished goods because their prices are so cheap. Electra Warehouse is an online store that markets electronics that are brand new, yet only a few dollars over the wholesale price. Why? Their reasoning is that they want to sell as many products as possible and by selling more, they get to reap the profit that they need. This is a quantity type of marketing.
If you’re Chinese, you would know this type of marketing. Chinese businessmen sell items and make profit by quantity. Just imagine if you mark up your goods for 2.00USD, and you sell 1000 pcs – you make 2000.00USD! If you mark up your product a 20.00USD, and you sell 4, you make 80.00USD. Why would you think marking up by 2.00USD would sell more items? Because no matter how you look at it, people will always buy the same item for a cheaper price. Unless you have disposable income that you don’t mind paying for an item at a premium – go for it. But for regular people like me, I guarantee you – - price does matter.
So if you want to take a look at the prices and products they offer, visit Electra Warehouse. You can decide for yourself.
