No projects this fall? That’s what I thought.
No projects for me this year – right? Yes, that’s what i said. However, I have a townhome that stands three storeys. The third floor is somewhat vacant with a T.V., two book cases and a computer. It is a good size area and I’m thinking of what to do with it. Since it is all the way on the third floor, I thought it would be good to convert it to a home theater. I have always dreamt of having a home theater to watch my sappy movies, and even use it for entertaining friends and family. Hmmm — good idea? No?
Anyway, I started searching (yes, I let my fingers do the walking!) online and found a Houston furniture website that carried the exact entertainment center that I would like to place on my third floor. It holds the same flat screen TV that I wanted to buy plus, it has the elegance that should carry through for ambiance. Since my lighting will be upgraded to recessed lighting this fall, wouldn’t it look great with this piece of wall unit?
I love wooden furniture. I am more on the traditional side when it comes to design, nothing modern about me as far as home decor and furnishing goes. First, I have to clear out the stuff that’s currently stored on the third floor and let my imagination run wild starting off with this piece and expanding from there. I want this wall unit to be the focal point of the room. This would definitely look absolutely fantastic. I’ve attached a picture below – let me know what you think.
