The portrait of elegance…
I remember the time when I visit my grandmom’s house and see a big portrait of her and my grandfather. The painting is awesome and gives her home an elegance of sort. I’m not sure what it is but maybe, it is because they both look so royal, her in her gown and my grandfather in his white suit looking like a prince. Wow, even just thinking about it puts me in awe.
Portraits are elegant and if there is an easier (less expensive) way than commissioning someone to paint a portrait of myself or my loved one, I would do it. And maybe I was just in luck because there is this website where you can order (similar to commissioning) your oil portraits, or charcoal portraits taken from a photograph. Yes, you read that right. From your favourite photo, you can upload it to the site and choose the type of painting and size you want to create. It is like creating your own masterpiece.
I have a dog and I want to get a portrait of him when he was about eight weeks old. I think it would be a great portait to display in my home. The website is great because you create your own and then submit it. You can see a lot of samples (original photo vs. portrait) so you can see the quality of the portrait.
I am thinking that this could also be a great present for Christmas or Birthday. Celebrating a milestone with a portrait seems to be a very cool idea. Prices are listed on the site so there isn’t any second guessing.
