I wish I had gotten an SLR instead
One of my ex-boyfriend’s best gift ever was the Digital camera he got me for my birthday last year. It is a Silver Canon PowerShot 7.1-Megapixel Digital ELPH Camera. I don’t know how we ever survived not having digital cameras before. I remember not being able to tell if you captured the moment until you take your film for development only to find out that the shot you needed didn’t come out. That used to upset me. The wonders of technology changed all that when digital cameras came out.
Last weekend, we went to the King Tut exhibit here in Philadelphia. I took pictures to post on this blog. That’s another thing that I love about it – I can take a picture and put it on my blog the minute after – it’s way awesome. I can even use my camera to take videos that I can upload into Youtube – - love it, love it, love it!! I will post some of the pictures from the King Tut exhibit later.
I really wanted to get an SLR. My maid, who loves photography and is great at it has an SLR. We were going to enroll in a photography class together but I bought a new laptop instead. Big mistake! Now all I can say is – All I want for Christmas is an SLR. Without a boyfriend to give me one, I may just have to save up for it.
