Could Property Management be the wave after the housing boom?

I was recently invited to a Real Estate conference. This is the kind of informercials that you see on T.V. where you are asked to attend a seminar for a certain fee and then they teach you how to acquire properties and such, to sell them back for a profit.

It all sounds well and good and it is really interesting because they tell you that you will be supported all throughout with their ‘contractors, mortgage lenders, brokers, and property managers’. Alright, the support I probably cannot get on my own but the rest, I think I can do. I have always envisioned having multiple properties and renting them out just like how my mom used rental apartments to raise ten kids. And let me tell you, those properties we still have today and to think that my mom probably purchased them for pennies compared how much they are today if we sell them.

But you know what? The tools are right at my finger tips. I know how to look for a house, gauge the location, and obtain a mortgage. Once I purchase the property, I either renovate and resell it for a profit or renovate and rent the property. I would probably go for the latter since the housing market is in a slump right now. Online Property Management Software is available and you can be up and running in 15 minutes. Whether you want to be run a Property Management company to handle an Association or if you’re a landlord that would like to manage your own properties, the software is a sure fit.

They say that the “Online Property Management Software is by far the most comprehensive program available, with its ability to collect rent payments online and its reasonable transaction fees. The ability to track maintenance requests and work orders online is also a huge perk and an added bonus to the program.”

If you are looking into property management either for a career or for your use as a landlord, you shoul really try the online software. There are additional benefits as follows:

* Providing easy, web-based property management software that immediately streamline the most time consuming tasks of property & condo managers
* Increasing property & condo managers’ responsiveness to residents by providing convenient web accounts for payments, statements, requests, notices and more
* Accepting ACH electronic payments without excessive transaction fees for greater convenience & tracking power
* Offering better, more efficient control over service and maintenance requests with real-time feedback to residents
* An affordable price point so anyone can realize these benefits, even if managing just a few units

I am tempted to attend the seminar, but I think I’m just going to study it on my own.
