Planning a family reunion this Labor Day
I see my family rarely these days. With work, school, blogging and other extra curricular activities – it’s really hard to find time to get away and see them. You see my family is divided between Maryland and New York. I am the only one in the middle (New Jersey). I am going back to school again in two weeks and I probably won’t see them for a few months after Labor Day.
My brother’s birthday is today and we are going to celebrate his birthday at a rented hall in New York. I created a short movie about his life and I would like to show it during the party. The party will somewhat be a birthday slash reunion since we all are very busy and we only get to see each other on big celebrations such as this one. If I was going to show the movie, I needed a projector to project the images on the wall. I don’t own one and I am not about to bring my flat screen TV all the way to New York and use it for this purpose.
As I am always online, I searched for LCD projectors and tried to find out if I could rent one. Well, well, well – - Tallahassee Projector Rental was a god-send! Instead of me buying one, I could actually rent one. What’s great is that even with short-notice, they can overnight the projector to you via Fedex! That just saved my day. They have all sorts of LCD projectors available for rent and let me tell you – - I can’t wait for the weekend. This is going to be an exciting event and I don’t want to miss the opportunity to show them old pictures and short movies. I’m sure, this is going to make my brother cry. That was the plan!
