Back to reality Lee and Gil – - vacation is over.
For the past two weeks, my maid and I are watching my friends’ dog ‘Chloe’. She is a Shi Tzu Prima Donna. I have a Shih Tzu as well – and you know him – my buttons, Simba and it was good for my pup to be with another dog other than me – hehe!
Guess where they went? They took a European cruise that would take them to Valencia – Spain, Rome – Italy, Santorini – Greece and finally, Paris – France. Wow – - a dream vacation indeed. They were asking me to come but I couldn’t afford a trip such as that at this time. They are on their way home now and will arrive here tomorrow. Sheesh, it must be nice huh?!
I mean don’t get me wrong. I have had my share of travels as well. There was a time that I almost lived at airports since I traveled a lot on business. The one thing that I hate to do before (but don’t mind doing now) is going through those walk through metal detectors. Every time I go through, it never fails – it BEEPS! It doesn’t matter if I’ve taken all the metals off that I think would go off, it would detect the littlest metal in my body. I mean, it can be annoying but since it is for my safety, I don’t really mind. What if the guy next to me had something that could jeopardize my trip and passes.. I would be more pissed!
Actually, I am becoming more of a walk through metal detectors fanatic. I mean, they could do it at airports but what about other public places that are accessible to ‘those’ people! They should really have them available for bars, malls, schools and other facilities where people gather. You just can never be safe anymore these days. In my opinion, people should not be offended if they start putting metal detectors in bars or clubs. The more chances of catching whoever is planning these crazy things, the better. Just ask yourself every time – - in those situations, ‘What would Chuva do?’
