Sam Milby was immediately approached by the entertainment press when he arrived at the “Hitch Party” of Head and Shoulders last night, November 14, at Fiamma Bar in Makati City.

Some of the reporters asked if he is going to file a case against entertainment columnist Lolit Solis tomorrow, November 16. However, the young actor-singer seemed to be surprised about the date when he answered, “I don’t know, they announced that ba?”

He was then asked what case he was planning to file against Lolit. “I guess it would be [libel]. I’m not sure,” answered Sam who was obviously trying to avoid the issue.

He added, “Actually, about this subject, I’m still talking to the lawyers and they asked me not to really say anything about it.”

Since he did not want to talk about the case, the media instead asked if he has forgiven Lolit, who already made her public apology in StarTalk.

“Of course, you know, I do forgive her,” said Sam. “But, of course, I did ask her to apologize for making up the story. And that still doesn’t happen. So, you know, I really do forgive her and I don’t have anything against her. But I did ask her apology for making up the story, too, and the retraction.”

PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) then asked him if he would forgive Lolit when she approached him personally. But the young actor did not answer and looked for his road manager to ask if he was allowed to answer questions about Lolit and the planned case against her.

“I don’t know if I am allowed to… Can I ask her [road manager] a quick [question about it] to make sure… Kasi parang I’m not supposed to make any comments actually at all. But can I just ask her [road manager] a quick [call] from the management?” Sam asked the members of the entertainment press.

Sam took a phone call and after that, the road manager told the reporters that he was not allowed to talk about the issue.
