When does a blogger decide to host their blog and own a domain?
I am a real advocate of my hosting company. I normally suggest that they go with the company that I’m with just because I haven’t really encountered anything that they did to annoy me.
So far so good. But I just heard that hosting is becoming cheaper and cheaper now because hosting companies start up every day. This is good news for you and me as bloggers don’t you think? Hosting costs can take a big chunk of cash out of your pocket if you don’t know how to shop.
I went with my hosting company before because it is word-of-mouth. The blogger that I know recommended that I use them so I did. The tools are already included such as WordPress for blogging and Zen Cart for my e-commerce website. I wasn’t really blogging full time and I mainly went with my hosting company to host my store. But since I am hosting my store and have all the space I available for me to blog – I started blogging.
You can find many web hosting plans available but if you are a starter, you may want to go with a company who doesn’t have contracts. I had to pay for a minimum of two years for mine to get the rate that I have which is $6.95 per month. The hosting site that I am talking about (http://tophostingcenter.com) only charges $4.95 per month with the same service and plan that I am with my hosting company today. And you don’t have to be tied to them. You can be on a month-to-month plan. They also have WordPress and Zen Cart built in as well!! Now, to me – that’s a bargain. They provide 24/7 support, provide AWStats which is an open source Web analytics reporting tool, suitable for analyzing data from Internet services such as web, streaming media, mail and FTP servers. AWstats parses and analyzes server log files, producing HTML reports. You can hit the ground running if you’re a blogger cause they offer b2evolution, FeedonFeeds and WordPress for your blogging needs.
Remember too that if you want to succeed and earn an income while blogging – it is better to host your site and have your own domain rather than participating in any of the free blog services out there. Just weigh your advantages and disadvantages and you’ll see that hosting your blog and owning your own domain makes a big difference in blogging income. Get started and start looking at web hosting plans now!

I don’t think it’s time for me to get a host yet (since I just started) but I’ll remember then when it’s time.

$ Hi Winnie! thanks for the visit. You will know when it’s time. Hosting my blog and owning my domain earned me almost 4K from blogging since last February.
It is definitely worth it for me – check the link below:
