Fence or Surveillance System?

I just noticed it today. The community next to my neighborhood just had their section fenced in. The fence looks really nice and the community now looks lie a gated community which isn’t bad, but I believe that they fenced it in not because they wanted to present an upscale community but rather to keep the elements that walk through their community day in and day out.

Yes, our neighborhood isn’t bad. They just have kids that walk through these neighborhoods from neighboring towns. Most are very good kids but you know how it is when a group of teenage boys get together. Sometimes, out of boredom they will key one of the cars or play paint ball on the streets that could really damage the parted cars outside. It would probably be wiser to put a security surveillance system rather than fencing the community in but it was their choice I guess.

It may keep the elements out but if something still happens, no one will be able to provide proof on who did what correct? Nothing can be proven in court without reasonable cause and if you can’t show them something, such as a tape from a security surveillance system, you’re pretty much out of luck.

If only we can keep the kids away from roaming around our neighborhood, it would probably solve the issue. Well, since I am a member of the board, maybe I’ll suggest that we get a security surveillance system to closely monitor activities that happen around here.
