Alfie Lorenzo speaks up for talent Sunshine Cruz about separation from Cesar Montano
Talent manager Alfie Lorenzo spoke to StarTalk in a taped interview yesterday, December 29, about the separation of his ward Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano that happened over the past week.
The couple’s separation has been the topic of blind item reports in tabloids for the past week. It was said that the couple separated last Christmas Day. PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) revealed the identity of the couple in a report that came out yesterday, December 29.
Tito Alfie, as Sunshine’s manager and the couple’s wedding sponsor, spoke to StarTalk regarding the separation. He recalled the conversation with Sunshine over the phone.
Tito Alfie narrated, “Noong isang araw nga, tumawag sa akin si Sunshine. Sabi niya, ‘Tito, hiwalay na kami ni Buboy.’ Ganoon. ‘Tapos, sabi ko, ‘Ano’ng nangyari?’ Sabi niya, ‘Lumayas ako kasama ng mga bata’.
“Naku, ano ba ‘yan? Sabi ko, tampururot lang ‘yan. Sabi ko. ‘Pretty soon naman baka sunduin ka ni Cesar o baka kalabitin ka, sabihin na uwi na tayo. Honey, uwi ka na,’” Alfie said in jest.
This is not the first time Cesar and Sunshine are rumored to have separated. This time, however, it looks as if Sunshine has made up her mind about the separation because lawyers are already involved. According to blind item reports, a third party on the part of Cesar is said to be the cause of their separation.
Tito Alfie has advised Sunshine not speak to the media about the separation.
“But she mentioned something about the children, nilalason ni Buboy yung utak ng mga bata. Yun daw ang ayaw niya. Nawalan daw siya… Nawala na daw yung respeto ni Cesar sa kanya. Pati yung mga bata, e, nadadamay na,” said Tito Alfie.
Tito Alfie though is hopeful that things will turn out for the better for the couple.
“‘Walang makakapag-decide niyan kung hindi ikaw lang,’ sabi daw ni Atty Lim-Tan. Hindi kami puwede makialam niyan, sabi ng mga abugado, yung ganito at ganyan. Ikaw makakapag-decide kasi against all odds, inano mo, nagpakasal ka kay Cesar. Ganoon, di ba?
“But I’m hoping, against hope, na sana magkabalikan pa sila. Magkasundo na kayo ni Sunshine, pagkatapos magbiruan tayo at the same time. Oo, alam mo kasi na dinadaan naman ‘yon sa biruan, di ba. Hindi ako papayag ng ganoon.
“Sunshine, alam ko hanggang ngayon mahal na mahal mo si Cesar. Mag-decide ka. Kayo ba o sa akin na,” teased Alfie.
