Sheryn Regis excited to spend Christmas in her new house
Christmas for singer Sheryn Regis will be grander this year.
“I’m gonna spend my Christmas with my family and I’m glad na mag-spend ako ng Christmas sa bagong ‘pinatayo kong maliit lang na bahay,” Sheryn happily announced to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last December 5 during the 1st OPM Song Hits Awards held at the Cinema 5 of Robinsons Galleria.
For Sheryn and her family, this is the first time they’ll celebrate the Yuletide here in Manila in a real house, not anymore in a high-rise loft. The petite singer’s own house, located somewhere in Quezon City, recently had its blessing last December 18.
Sheryn had been spending Christmas here in Manila for the past three years now, though her hometown is Cebu.
Gab Valenciano shares his family’s wild Christmas traditions
I think that the bond Gary V had created in his household is pretty neat. Imagine Gary V in spandex?!! But this is what makes a family. Traditions are what makes a family.
- Chuva Chienes
Gab Valenciano was a bit apologetic for spilling some secrets about his family Christmas traditions to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal). He narrated that they have this weird tradition of dressing up in their household when the Christmas season begins.
“Christmas is a wild thing also, especially when we put up the tree. If you were there, you’d probably see Gary V in a way you’ve never seen him and you won’t respect him ever again. Let me just give you an example. I came out in a cow suit. My brother [Paolo] came out in a Sumo suit. And my dad came out with long curly hair and spandex…,” he narrated, laughing.
“It’s just a Valenciano tradition. It’s a tradition which I will have with my kids when I get older. It’s a time for stupidity. That’s how we celebrate our Christmas. And you know, it’s fun. Then, that’s how the real colors come in our family,” he said.
Gab also recalled that the Pangilinan side also has a wild New Year celebration.
It’s Yilmaz-less Christmas for Ruffa Gutierrez
Four years is a long time most specially if you have children together. Christmas is a big celebration for Filipinos and I could understand how one can feel lonely during the holidays. I feel lonely too because of the break up with my boyfriend of four years. So Ruffa, you and I are on the same boat. Just enjoy your family.
- Chuva Chienes
“Actually sanay na ako, e,” answered Ruffa Gutierrez when asked about spending Christmas without husband Yilmaz Bektas. The Turkish tycoon is a Muslim, so they don’t celebrate the birth of Jesus.
I don’t expect anything anymore. Pero I don’t wanna be disappointed. With regard to that, I’ll just take things as they come. Hintayin na lang natin.”
They were together for four years, isn’t she feeling any void in her life?
The Desperadas actress said she and her kids, Lorin and Venice, will be spending Christmas with the Gutierrez family.
Aga Muhlach celebrates Christmas without his mom
Aga, my heart goes out to you and your family. I know how terrible it is to lose a loved one most especially during the holidays. You’re right however, she is better where she is now. We have to move on and let them go. Merry Christmas Aga~!!
- Chuva Chienes
This is going to be the first Christmas for Aga Muhlach and his siblings without their mom, Anita Aquino.
During the press conference of “Ma-Aga ang Pasko ,” the award-winning actor was sad as he narrated how their family is coping with the death of their Mommy Anita .
He said, “It’s the first death in our family. Of course, we really miss our mom, that’s for sure. So this is gonna be the first Christmas that we’re not gonna be with her. We’ll just take it as it comes, we don’t know.”
It might have affected the actor so much that it took a while before he went out in public. However, Aga told the press that their family is moving on slowly with their lives.
“Everything’s okay naman. Everything will be okay. More than anything, masaya siya sigurado sa kinaroroonan niya ngayon.
With what happened, Aga is certain that this year’s Christmas will be different. But their family does not want to dwell on the sadness that was brought by the situation. In fact, the actor sees the death of his mom in a different way.
“I think my mom’s mission is tapos na. Read more
A Wonderful and Glorious Year – - 2007
With all the things that happened to me this year, the UPS and the DOWNS – I can still say that I must celebrate because God’s Blessings have been abundant. Not only financially but personally as well.
One of the greatest things that happened was my re-introduction to blogging. I didn’t know it could be this much fun. When I opened my blog last year, I didn’t know where to go or to begin getting the traffic to my blog until I was featured by none other than Reyna Elena. It was my online store that he blogged about but it had introduced me to people I wouldn’t have met if I didn’t visit his site. From little comments here and there, we all discovered the opportunities available in blogging. Being an entrepreneur myself, Reyna and I share the same passion. The passion to leave the rat race and be financially free. Now I believe that we can make that happen.
To all the people that I met through blogging, I love you all and this entry is to wish all of you a Wonderful and Glorious Christmas and more Pay Per Post Opportunities for 2008!! Hahaha!!
I may be off blogging for a while as I spend Christmas with my families in Maryland and friends in Chicago. I wish all of my readers the best as well and may your blessings abound and may you be safe always. Here’s a video from Starmometer.com (a good friend too) that I will part with you as I go on holiday. Led by Nick Lachey, it won the Clash of The Choirs competition on NBC – - TEAM LACHEY!

“Unwritten”
I am unwritten, can’t read my mind, I’m undefined
I’m just beginning, the pen’s in my hand, ending unplanned
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
Oh, oh, oh
I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We’ve been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can’t live that way
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions

Jolina Magdangal enjoys “Working Hour” with the President
Lolit Solis offers to do PR work for Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby
ABS-CBN: “GMA-7 cannot file a case against us.”
Showbiz for the past months has been riddled with controversies, but the most serious of them all has to be the revelation an “informant” shared with ABS-CBN about the alleged cheating on AGB Nielsen Media Research Philippines’ ratings. It can be recalled that an informant from Bacolod City had approached ABS-CBN with a claim that he was formerly part of a scam to bribe Bacolod households to switch to channels, except for ABS-CBN. He related that a “network” commissioned him and other people in Bacolod to follow AGB Nielsen’s staff vehicles to homes where AGB would set up their channel-tracking apparatus. The informant claimed that they would wait for the AGB crew to finish up and leave so they could approach the home owners, offering cash and groceries in exchange for switching channels.
ABS-CBN has since filed a civil case against AGB Nielsen for damages and injunction. The Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) filed by ABS-CBN has left AGB Nielsen with absolutely nothing to put out until they resolve the “anomaly” revealed by the informant.
Many have speculated about what channel the informant was talking about when he revealed the alleged cheating. Some also have begun to doubt the credibility of the ratings. A small number have questioned the informant’s exact timing in coming out and his vague finger pointing at who’s to blame.
Captain Barbell will fly again with Darna come 2008
Sandwiched ang apat na shows sa pinaka-teaser ng Valentine movie ng GMA Films at Regal Films na A Very Special Love, ngunit si Richard Gutierrez lang ang ipinakita, with a blurb that says, “she is definitely coming this Valentine.”
From the direction of Mac Alejandre and Argel Joseph, Joaquin Bordado also stars Mark Herras, Iwa Motto, and Cristine Reyes, although may usap-usapan na planong lumipat ng bakuran ang nakababatang kapatid ni Ara Mina.
Why AGB Nielsen released ratings bulletin despite TRO
With the decision of AGB Nielsen Media Research Philippines to disobey the clear terms of the temporary restraining order, it made a narrow and self-serving interpretation of the TRO. As a result of this, we will hold them liable for contempt of court.”
Ayon sa order handed out by Judge Charito Gonzales, “Wherefore, as prayed for, the dependant [AGB Nielsen], its employees, agents or representatives and those acting for and in behalf are hereby ordered to cease and desist for pursuing its nationwide TAM [television audience measurement] data gathering activities from corrupted home panels and delivering, releasing or making known the resulting TAM data to its clients or the general public within twenty (20) days from the issuance of this order.”
Michelle Madrigal on Yasmien-JC loveteam: “Bagay na bagay sila.”
Oh wow! She is such a pretty lass! Your future is so broad that you can do whatever you want at this point. My only advise is to keep your feet on the ground and don’t let it falter. Success comes to those who seek it. Continue with your search.. you’ll find it.
- Chuva Chienes
But definitely, mapapanood na nila ako ulit.”
Ronnie Liang invests earnings in family home and business ventures
This is what you can call financial savvy! How could a guy so young be concerned about these things already? Because he knows in his heart that this is not going to last for the rest of his life. He is a great idol to many who are successful. You can be an OFW, sending money home or a worker in the Philippines. You can have the same goal. If you can dream it, you can do it! Congrats Ronnie!
- Chuva Chienes
Nang makausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Ronnie Liang, ang second runner-up ng Pinoy Dream Academy, sa J’s Coffee Shop on Timog Avenue in Quezon City last Friday, December 21, nabanggit niyang pinakamasaya na niyang Pasko ang 2007.
“Naging very blessed po ako this year after winning [in] the PDA last December 16, 2006,” sabi ni Ronnie.
Mart Escudero on Jennica: “Maganda nga ang chemistry namin.”
Starstruck teen idol Mart Escudero is a promising talent. He is good looking, has been casted for several films already and as long as he does good and work really hard, he’s going to make it. I know there are many young teen idols right now but if he keeps at it, he will make it. Wave cutie!!
- Chuva Chienes
Ara Mina addresses issues linking Cristine to Willie Revillame
I wonder why Ara Mina’s name is being attached to multiple male personalities. Did she have a history of being a mistress? I wonder why every guy (who’s married) is linked to her and they end up denying it anyway. Hmmm.. something must be under this tip of the iceberg. I will find out.
- Chuva Chienes
CRISTINE AND WILLIE?
Niloloko ko siya, my age and age ni Cristine, i-plus mo, is his age,” aniya.
Let’s talk about ratings.
Not being technical myself, I have just observed the trends and the flow of the blogosphere. I ride into whatever I believe is true with reference to obtaining a higher rank by way of links, comments, blog hopping and everything else.
One thing that I noticed though while reviewing my blogjuice is that it values the Alexa score more than it values the Technorati core to calculate my blog’s value. Another thing that I noticed is that it also depends on how many subscriber you have into your blog feed. This makes it more difficult unless your content is really that of Problogger.net or JohnChow.com.
I was blog hopping today and found a cool thing called rssHugger! This is how describd the program:
rssHugger is a new website developed to help bloggers promote their blogs, and to help visitors discover new blogs that write about subjects that the readers are interested in. Through the power of the internet and viral marketing, rssHugger looks to bring blog writers and blog readers closer together. If you own a blog, you can get your own page on rssHugger for 10 years for giving an honest review of the site on your blog. If you want to join rssHugger but do not want to review our site, you can pay a one time review fee of $20. rssHugger will be the first ever quality, spam free, and viral rss directory strictly for bloggers.
I think it is a great program and will definitely be a part of my blog. I am not only writing about rssHugger because I want to become a member for free, rather than my belief in the program that if I join, the more readers I get – the higher my page rank would be.
That would trickle down to higher page rank, higher opportunities to another income stream online and so on.
If you’re here – then you must like making money online. If you join now, you may be in at the right time.
Until then!!!
Judy Ann Santos talks about Christmas plans, favorite dishes, and diet
Blogging about celebrities has taught me a lot and I could relate it to my quest to generate an income through blogging. Celebrities like Judy Ann, Aga Mulach and Sharon Cuneta are big endorsers in the Philippines because their name IS the brand. So if you are aiming to make your blog profitable, take that lesson. YOUR blog IS the brand. And when you make it good, advertisers will start piling in!
- Chuva Chienes
Last Tuesday, 18 December, Judy Ann posed for the pictorial and did the recording for the radio commercial at the DPI XL studios in Makati City.
Wearing a casual white top and capri pants, she arrived at past 5:00 p.m.
Marian Rivera fever hits YES!
YES! magazine’s January 2008 issue gets the lowdown on the hottest showbiz star of today—Marian Rivera.
In a 15-page story—interviewed by Jo-Ann Maglipon and written by Anna Pingol—YES! chronicles the life of this beautiful Spanish-Filipino mestiza who began in showbiz just two and a half years ago. She first landed plum roles in the afternoon drama Kung Mamahalin Mo Lang Ako, Kung Agawin Mo Man ang Lahat, and Pinakamamahal. She was awarded Best New Female TV Personality at the 2006 Philippine Movie Press Club’s (PMPC) Star Awards for Television for her role in Kung Mamahalin Mo Lang Ako.
- Chuva Chienes
Everyone thought lady luck had frowned on her when she took mother roles in two television series—Muli and Super Twins. It was a sign that she would be relegated to the ranks of supporting players.
But all that changed when the 23-year-old Marian clinched the very much-coveted title role in Marimar. And these days, she has become one of showbiz’s busiest stars.
In the last quarter of 2007 alone, Marian had to juggle a very hectic shooting schedule for three movies: Desperadas, Bahay Kubo, and her first Valentine movie A Very Special Love, which will pair her with matinee idol and fellow GMA-7 artist Richard Gutierrez. And in between those shooting are taping for Marimar and numerous print and ad shoots.
AGB Nielsen defies TRO, releases overnight ratings
Wow, this is really a move that could make this controversial issue much bigger! Imagine a company in the U.S. defying a court-ordered restraining order and you will be in so much trouble. Can they do this in the Philippines without getting in trouble? How could a company like AGB Nielsen defy the court’s ruling? Is that a normal practice in the country?
- Chuva Chienes
Despite the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) issued by the Quezon City Regional Trial Court against AGB Nielsen Media Research Philippines, overnight ratings on December 18 and 19 conducted by AGB was released earlier today, December 21. ABS-CBN had requested that AGB Nielsen be ordered to temporarily cease releasing data or any information on television ratings for twenty (20) days.
An order handed out by Judge Charito Gonzales yesterday, December 20, states: “Wherefore, as prayed for, the defendant [AGB Nielsen], its employees, agents or representatives and those acting for and its behalf are hereby ordered to cease and desist from pursuing its nationwide TAM [Television Audience Measurement] data gathering activities from corrupted home panels and delivering, releasing or making known the resulting TAM data to its clients or the general public within twenty [20] days from the issuance of this Order.”
By releasing the overnight ratings on December 18 and 19, AGB Nielsen intentionally defied the TRO. Whatever prompted the survey group to make that decision is still unclear.
Before PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) obtained a copy of AGB Nielsen’s overnight ratings last December 18 and 19, we also got hold of data gathered by Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS), a new survey firm that GMA-7 subscribes to aside from AGB. TNS was launched this year and also covers the Mega Manila area.
Looking at the data of both AGB and TNS, although the figures and rankings are relatively different, GMA-7 shows are leading in both surveys.
In connection with AGB Nielsen’s decision to release its data despite the TRO against the research firm, PEP received another statement from Mr. Bong Osorio, ABS-CBN’s Head of Corporate Communication, a few minutes ago.
In the one-paragraph statement emailed to PEP, ABS-CBN expressed its disappointment “with the decision of AGB Nielsen Media Research Philippines to disobey the clear terms of the temporary restraining order. It made a narrow and self-serving interpretation of the TRO. As a result of this, we will hold them liable for contempt of court.”

A blog worth reading.
I joined Entrecard today and while bloghopping through the viewers of my blog, I came across Everything, Everywhere Travel. What intrigued me about this blog was the fact that the writer’s blog description said, “My name is Gary. In March 2007, I sold my house, put my stuff in storage and hit the road. As of December 2007, I’ve been to 26 countries and territories. This is the journal of my travel and adventures.”
Coincidentally, he was in Asia Pacific and there were a couple of posts about the Philippines. I must admit that Gary does not post, just to post an entry. He puts a lot of effort on research and reviewing the background before he types it down. His assessment of the Philippines was right on the money. The college-educated looking for work elsewhere, the poverty, the corruption, the massive brain drain and every known fact about the Philippines. The photos are so real and beautiful as well so I dug in further.
In one post, he talked about seeing an ad on television for Domestic Help in Hong Kong that required a college degree. And I quote, “When I was in the Philippines I was watching a TV show when some ads for foreign work opportunities flashed across the screen. I was taken aback at one which was for Hong Kong domestic help, and the position required a college degree. Kind of reflects poorly on job opportunities in the Philippines when they can demand a college degree to get a job as a maid.”
He has excellent points and I am really impressed with his writing style where using only a few words, he can tell the state of one nation and his opinions validate mine.
“The Philippines has been slower than most of SE Asia in developing, but I think it probably holds more potential then other countries in the region, in the long run. People however, have been saying that since Marcos fell. If they can overcome their political problems and corruption, I think they might be the next Asian tiger.“, he writes. I cannot agree with him more and I am troubled why WE as Filipinos cannot see this writing on the wall! From your mouth to God’s ears Gary!!!
His final words about the Philippines were just as impressive for he observed. His writing gives me goosebumps because they reflect what we all know and feel but no one seems to be doing anything about it. His words when he said, “Filipinos have become the modern day versions of Jews and Chinese. In every European and Middle Eastern country you used find a population of Jews who filled an economic niche. Likewise, Chinese and Chinatowns can be found all over Asia which they often owned many businesses and were brought in originally as laborers. The same was also true of Indians during the British Empire who went to work in Guyana, Fiji, or Africa. Filipinos are filling that role today. Not only can you find Filipinos in Hong Kong, but also in Saudi Arabia, and throughout Asia. If I were a betting man, based on what I saw in the Philippines, I would bet that you see Filipinos follow the same course in these countries over the next several decades. They come in as laborers and end up owning businesses and having a higher standard of living than the local population. And, like the Jews and Chinese before them, they will probably end up getting the short end of the stick by locals if they become too successful.” , rang so true that I almost fell apart when it home.
Gary, I thank you and I am glad I ran into your blog. More power and I am jealous of you as you travel the world. Please continue to write as I’m sure I will be back for some good reading!!
I am encouraging my readers to visit your blog. It’s very well-written and neatly organized. If you love travel and you want to learn about the countries Gary has visited – - please, visit his blog today.

Lani Mercado opens up about Rosanna Roces and Bong’s son with other woman
She is definitely standing her ground on this one. Hey, she’s the wife. She has every right to doesn’t she? Sometimes, it’s harder to stand by your man but if you knew right from the start, it’s water under the bridge. I think it’s a noble thing to accept the son of your husband from an ex-girlfriend. I don’t see anything wrong with that.

Nagpunta naman siya and I’m happy. I think that was one of the occasions na nakarating siya. Ngayon, I think happy siya. ‘Tsaka may okasyon at inaanak niya si Ram.
Dagdag niya, “Well, so, far, maayos naman.
Attention: All Organized Individuals… help!
I need to re-organize my whole life in 2008. In preparation, I am creating a list of items that I need to focus on. However, I am calling on the meticulous and organized individuals out there who can help me organize.
I am usually a pack rat but I decided to let go of that next year. I will let go of things no matter what if it’s something that I absolutely do not need. Just help me focus and give me some advice – - – please…
I am about to go nuts! I’m so behind…
I did this last year. I said, I will shop early for Christmas and start shopping in June. It’s already December 21st and I have yet to pick up my first present! My Christmas cards are usually posted by November 16th, are still to be bought, addressed and posted. Arrggghhh… I don’t want to go through this next year!!!!!
I guess it’s going to be on my resolution list for next year!
Beverly Hills 6750 takes legal action against David Bunevacz
This is pure example of greed taking over. Imagine being a successful businessman, with all the luxuries they can afford – even more than the most prominent families in the Philippines. Yet, in all that – they are still accused of embezzling a large sum of money. Why? What they had wasn’t enough? Come on.
- Chuva Chienes
PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) received a statement from Beverly Hills 6750 through email this evening, December 21, in connection with the controversy involving celebrity couple Jessica Rodriguez and David Bunevacz. PEP reported last December 13 that Jessica and David were booted out from the aesthetic center for several unconfirmed reasons—the loudest buzz is that the couple uses the company’s finances for their luxurious lifestyle.
Here is the statement of Beverly Hills 6750:
“Beverly Hills 6750, an aesthetic center specializing in cosmetic surgery, dermatology, cosmetic dentistry and cosmetic gynecology put up as a collaboration between businessmen and physicians, has been in the news lately ever since celebrity couple David and Jessica Bunevacz, was reported to have left the company (and the country) because of alleged anomalous transactions which have cost BH6750 a considerable amount of money.
“The management of BH6750 confirmed that Mr. David Bunevacz has indeed resigned from his position as President of the corporation. The board of directors and owners has appointed a management committee to oversee the day-to-day operations of the center and a new election of officers will be held January next year.
“The board has remained silent on the issue because they initially preferred that the matter be dealt with internally as a matter of corporate practice. The couple has chosen to air their side of the corporate controversy to the media. Beverly Hills 6750 believes the truth should be shared with their loyal clientele and the general public:
“Mr. Bunevacz offered to settle but on terms that were unacceptable to the owners of the corporation. Thus, legal action has been taken by the board through their law firm Siguion-Reyna, Montecillo and Ongsiako and a demand letter has already been sent to Mr. Bunevacz and legal proceedings are expected to follow soon.
“Beverly Hills 6750 has established itself as one of the most reputable aesthetic centers in the country. It has a team of highly credentialed Filipino doctors trained both here and abroad, bringing a wide range of aesthetic services to the Philippines. The center continues to serve its clients and assures the public of its continued professional services with its new leadership.”

Richard Gutierrez admits going out with Jewel Mische—for coffee
Go go go Richard! It’s okay to date. You are of age, you know where you stand and you have a good head on your shoulders. I don’t think you will do anything to ruin the career that you just started. You are on the top of your game, but it’s okay to have fun. Don’t take it seriously for now – you will know when it’s time. I promise.

“It is a good year for me, kahit pa meron din namang ups and downs.
Batman – The Dark Night – Full Movie Trailer – due July 2008

The NEW trailer for the new Batman Movie in HD!!! The Dark Knight opens July 18th 2008, and stars Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckhart, & Maggie Gyllenhaal. I am so excited about this and can’t wait until it comes out next year!
I am a nut about superheroes – - who isn’t? This movie better be worth it. The last Batman film wasn’t as good as I thought but this may change things. Besides, Heath Ledger as the JOKER could just make it worthwhile.

The Wowowee Wilyonaryo Scandal – Rehearsals Video Leaked
According to Pinoy.Rickey.org, the rehearsals video that was leaked clearly shows that Wilyonaryo portion of Wowowee was designed for cheating. This is up again. ABS-CBN says it’s an old issue but I’m not sure where this is headed now. Let’s just wait and see!!!
- Chuva Chienes
Check out the video courtesy of Pinoy.Rickey.org :
“Wilyonaryo” is the controversial segment wherein Willie accidentally showed the wrong number in the jackpot portion of the August 20 episode of the noontime show. It also started the word war between Willie and fellow TV host Joey de Leon of rival program Eat Bulaga. The Kapamilya network explained that the mistake was a result of a “technical glitch.” By October, Wowowee discontinued the segment and replaced it with the “Merrygalo” segment.

GMA-7 plans to sue DZMM and ABS-CBN for libel
ABS-CBN should expect a Christmas stocking full of suits from GMA-7.
Sina Ms. Rikki Escudero, GMA Head of Regional TV and AVP for Expansion and Production Services; Atty. Dick Perez; VP for Legal Affairs; and Ms. Ruth Lejarde, VP for Research, ang humarap sa entertainment press after an early lunch.
Jolina Magdangal is in no rush to marry longtime boyfriend Bebong Munoz
“Minsan tatanungin ako, ‘What’s your ideal wedding?’
Never talaga akong nagsabi ng detalyado.”
AGB-Nielsen’s failure to conduct probe prompted TRO issuance
ABS-CBN sent PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) a copy of the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) issued by Judge Charito B. Gonzales of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 80 earlier today, December 20, against AGB Nielsen Media Research Philippines.
As reported earlier today, the court granted ABS-CBN’s request for AGB Nielsen to refrain from releasing any data on television ratings after reports of bribery and cheating involving the sampled households in Bacolod surfaced last week.
The Lopez-owned network filed a legal complaint against the media research body last December 14 after AGB Nielsen allegedly failed to conduct an investigation on the anomaly report as narrated by an informant who requested anonymity.
According to the informant, some people are being hired by an outside party to bribe the households included in the survey to switch channels in favor of a particular “network,” subsequently betraying their normal viewing behavior.
