My baby is home. Everyone – meet Jake~!
You probably remember that sad news that I delivered right here on this blog a few months ago. It was the time when my best friend and companion (dog) Simba, passed away suddenly due to a very rare disease that is common to canines. It was one of the most devastating events of my life. I vowed that I will never get a dog again. The pain was just too much to bear.
With the help of friends, I was able to cope and am able to move on little by little. I had to go through missing him every other day.. looking at his picture and just wondering how life would be if he was still here. With proper prompting from co-workers and friends, they convinced me to get another one. I was leaning towards it in the end but I didn’t want to get another Shih Tzu because it feels like I am replacing my very best friend.
One day I decided to give my breeder a call just by chance she has any litter available. Guess what? She had four pups, wherein three of the pups are in the same color as my Simba!!! That never happens. She usually has black and white litter from her dogs but this one was very odd. THREE!!! I rushed to see it (with Reynz) and oh my – - I just fell in love! I feel guilty a little bit but I know this is how Simba would want it.
So, everyone – - here’s my new best friend – - – JAKE!!!!! (Reyna has one too.. his name is Toby – - I’m sure he’s going to blog about him sometime).

$ ay, sorry mam reynz.. di ko alam na may i-dra-drama ka pala.. kasi naman bakit hindi sinabi sa kin.. eh excited ang ditse mo no?!
$ pusa – oo, hindi ito lumalaki. maliit lang sila, the maximum i think is 14 pounds pero Simba was much smaller than Jake. Jake may go up to 12 pounds. Baka siya pa ang kainin ko!

$ chuvaness – fruit of my blogging labor yan. Nagtaas na nga eh.. 2.5 years ago nung kinuha ko si Simba, 600 USD lang – ngayon, cheng – tumaas ng 100. Pero worth it naman siya dahil ang bait bait at ang lambing lambing. O sige, paliliguan ko pa si Jake.. Mamaya na lang ulit. Smell you later!
