What could be another way to get fit that isn’t boring?

I need to find another outlet where I could use up my energy and lose weight in the process. It’s hard to keep running on the threadmill with only that as my form of cardio. I wanted to take something else where it will be enjoyable and not daunting. I was thinking of taking martial arts lessons.

I know, I know – I’m not the type that would take Karate lessons but don’t you think those karate uniforms would look great on me? I just want to be able to take something that isn’t boring and I think with Karate, I get to use my whole body for the workout without getting bored. Hello!!! How can you get bored is your opponent is about to kick you in the rear!!

I think I’m going to sign up just for fun. What do you guys think? I wanted to take up swimming but that too could be really boring. I need to interact with people and if Karate will do it, why not? It seems easy enough after learning the basics. And maybe, it would be good for self-defense too. It’s all about the techniques and if I can get fit in the process, hey – it’s worth all of it. Just wait, I’ll post the outcome once I get started. I may like it.
