“Ang Lihim ni Antonio” premieres at UP Diliman on February 4
Pagkatapos na maging isang kontrobersyal na indie film ang pinagbidahan ni Harry Laurel na Ang Lalake Sa Parola, muli na namang gumawa ang Digital Viva at Beyond The Box films ng isa na namang kontrobersyal and perhaps “the boldest gay film ever” na Ang Lihim Ni Antonio (Antonio’s Secret).

Mula sa direksyon ni Jay Altarejos, tampok sa Ang Lihim Ni Antonio ang baguhan na si Kenji Garcia. Kasama rin sila Jiro Manio, Shamaine Buencamino, Provoq Man’s Josh Ivan Morales at Nino Fernandez.
Kuwento ito ng isang 15-year old boy named Antonio na nakaranas ng pang-aabusong sekswal. Dito nga namulat ang kanyang inosenteng paningin sa buhay.
“The film tackles the loss of innocence and abuse,” paliwanag ni Direk Jay. “Abuse can happen to anyone, of any gender, in any form. Walang hindi puwedeng maging biktima ng pang-aabuso.”Ipapalabas Ang Lihim ni Antonio sa February 13 sa Robinson’s Galleria. Magkakaroon naman ng Director’s Cut preview sa the University of the Philippines Film Institute, Diliman, Quezon City, on February 4. For tickets, tawag lang sa UP Film Institute at 926-3640.

I am actually from zambales but i pursue to go to manila just to watch this show…I really like the show! I wish there is a directors cut show again just like happen in UP.
