A fresh look.
Just looking at precious collection of Madonna and Child figurines and wall decor, and I see a lot of clutter. My walls are adorned with limited edition lithographs and I am still craving for more. I want to own a Peter Maxx artwork someday as well.
But the result is quite disturbing. I was told by one of my ‘interior-designer-by-nature’ friend that I should not display all the artwork at the same time. It clutters the room and confuses the people who want to admire them. And I agree. He tells me that I should rotate the display to give a fresh look each time they walk into my home.
So my goal this weekend is to pick the ones that I want to remain and look for a Fine Art Storage place that would help protect the artwork that I so generously paid for. Some of the pieces are over $400.00 USD to $1,000.00. I have an original artwork that I acquired from the Philippines that I’m sure would be worth a lot of money someday and protecting these pieces are a priority.
I better clean up and re-decorate. This weekend will be the only free time I have available that won’t get in the way of my studies. So – - it’s rotation time!
