Before April showers, come baby showers…
It’s freezing today. The temperature is 12 degrees and it seems like it was only last week when the weather was in the 60s. I just can’t wait for Spring and then Summer. I have many plans this year and it includes my niece who’s giving birth to her first born in April. I want to throw her a big baby shower. The only problem is, she lives in Colorado and I’m here on the East Coast. I may have to take a flight out there.
With that in mind, I am not sure how to contact all her friends so I could send out the invitations early enough for them to plan. I guess I can contact her husband but even that is a challenge. She would probably wonder why I would call her husband when I haven’t called him ever. Hmmm.. I’m thinking.
Aha! I could call her brothers. She moved to Colorado because all her siblings moved there after college. All four of them. It’s funny how my sister and brother-in-law haven’t moved there yet. They must spend a fortune on plane fare going back and forth on holidays and such.
Anyway, I gotta get on this task. April is not that far away and I want to give her a baby shower before the baby comes. I love baby showers!!
