Change of plans….dears….
I was supposed to travel to Manila this year. I have my plans all hashed out and as soon as the semester ends, I was going to leave for Manila for two weeks!! Malen and Pusa are already too excited that I am afraid with this post, I will be ostracized. I was so excited as well until I found out that I couldn’t. We have so many projects right now that even a week of vacation will put me so behind, I will never die.
So, I need to look at other vacation ideas that would not take me away completely from work but enable me to relax and enjoy it. Did you know that I lived in New York for 5 years and still didn’t get to see the Statue of Liberty up-close? the last time I was there was when I was 5 years old. My mom, my sister and I took the ferry and climbed the Statue of Liberty. Five years in New York and didn’t have the chance to re-visit the Statue of Liberty. That is just a shame.
So, I decided that I will take small trips between now and summer. One of the destinations is Nueva York. I will visit the sites I have meant to visit for a long time but never had the chance to. It would be nice to stroll around 5th avenue again, or Times Square. To make it simpler, I could probably take New York city tours and kill all birds with one stone. who knows? In the process, I may meet someone that would fulfill my Valentine’s Day dream next year!
