Chuva Chienes is spiritual too. Hindi naman po puro cheezmax… haha!

Today is Good Friday and it has become an annual ritual for Chuva Chienes and the Butse Gang to devote this entire holy day as a practice to offer up prayers for others during Holy Week. Yun nga lang, nagiging excursion ang annual ritual of “Visita Iglesia with Chuva Chienes”.

To tell you the truth, I am really quite happy about how this annual tradition evolved. We started our Visita Iglesia two years ago and gathered together to visit seven churches and pray, para may indulhensiya naman po kami sa mga kasalanan namin. Everyone who joined during our first year has returned and we have now made it a point that we do this every year in gratitude, unang una na po ang success ng blog na ito and for all the blessings we have received through the years.

Nagsimula po kami ng late ngayon dahil ang mga jokla ay lumabas pa kabi sa club at nag-chorva chorva ng hanggang alas tres ng madaling araw. Ang aming mga kaibigan ay nanggaling pa sa Philadelphia who arrived this morning with some goodies to start with. Mga pastries for breakfast got us started, with a stop at Dunkin’ Donuts for coffee para magising ng tuluyan.

Our first stop ay ang kaibigan naming halos gumapang na kagabi sa sobrang lasing. Hahah! We picked him up para dagdag sa limang faithful na nagbibisita iglesya. Then, off we went to our first destination.

Heto po sya. Gumapang papuntang simbahan..hehehe! Joke lang po.

Kala ninyo po mga banal ano?! Pero mababait po yang mga iyan.

Second stop po ay ang – Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church

Malamig pa rin po rito kahit first day of Spring na.

St. Lawrence is our third stop. My parish.

Our fourth stop is St. Agnes. This church is so beautiful inside.

Here we are outside, dahil marami pong nagdadasal sa loob.

Here we all are at our fifth stop – St. Jude – Ano ba to, parang mga turista!!

Dahil nakatapos na po kami ng 10 stations – joyous na po ang mga tomjones na Butse Gang. Ang mga baklita, hindi na makapaghintay na kumain. Nagtalunan po kami sa tuwa!!

Nakita ninyo po ba yung nasa extreme right? Aba, kala niya contestant siya ng Dancing with the Stars!! Talagang nag-pose ang bading. Hahah!!

Our next stop — Philadelphia.
