Prince Harry to marry Zimbabwean-born girlfriend? Unofficially engaged.
BEIJING, April 7 – Speculations about Britain’s Prince Harry’s marriage to his Zimbabwean-born girlfriend Chelsy Davy become a media focus after he met her parents in private recently.
The third-in-line to the British throne was spotted having a heart-to-heart discussion with the blonde’s multi-millionaire father Charles Davy and mother Beverley over breakfast at a five-star hotel in Cape Town.
“It was a pretty intense conversation. He obviously had a serious issue to discuss with them. He’d want to do things properly and ask for her father’s permission,” one of his friends was quoted as saying.
Davy’s parents wanted to make sure Harry is serious about having a long-term future with their daughter, family friends of the Davy’s said.
The 23-year-old Prince joined the Davy family after a blissful break with Chelsy spent drifting down a river in Botswana.
He has now returned from his trip to South Africa to visit 22-year-old Davy’s family. He rekindled his romance with the politics student before going to Afghanistan.
