A wedding favor to remember. It’s Spring time…
I’ve attended many weddings in my lifetime. I have been to weddings and a part of weddings ever since I can remember. There are fabulous weddings, like the one of my cousin where her veil was so long, it started from the door all the way to the altar of the church. And mind you, this was not a small church, it was a Cathedral. I will never forget that wedding. Another one is my sister’s wedding at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. They must have spent their life savings on it but it was fabulous as well.
The wedding can be fabulous at the church or at the reception. Most recently, my ex-boyfriend and I attended his friend’s wedding and the church celebration was cool too. Actually, my ex-boyfriend sang the communion song. But what awaited us at the reception was something we didnt’ expect. It was the most lavish reception I’ve ever been to. Before we even started dinner, we were gobblig up the hors d’ouvres which were fantastic and the drinks – - top shelf drinks – - I tell you. After it was all said and done, we had a great dinner and a fabulous time. The one thing we took away were the wedding table decorations. They had beautiful plants because they got married in the spring. To this day, I still have the plant in my house. This was one of the wedding favor ideas that was a hit. Everyone who took a plant home still enjoys their plants today. It also reminds us of a special day, a day so great – I probably will never forget it.
