I decided to treat my maid out to lunch today…

Diba kapag magaling ang trabahador mo, you have to give them a reward. It’s part of my training as a Project Manager. Little wins create Big wins! So, kahit papaano – yung paglagay-lagay niya ng anti-freeze sa cafe ko tuwing umaga or the DORA on my cereals… I feel loved.

So this morning (Sunday), I decided to take her out to lunch. Sabi ko – since you’ve been a great house help, I will treat you out to lunch today. I went to church first and then called her on my cell.

Chuva: Diwa, are you ready for our lunch date?

Diwa: I don’t deserve it. I don’t want to impose.

Chuva: It’s not a big thing. You’ve done so much for me – it’s my treat.

Diwa: Are you certain madame? I could stay home and eat rice and soy sauce.

Chuva: NO! You are coming with me. I haven’t treated any of my maids as slaves and I’m not about to start now. Get ready, I’ll pick you up.

So, pagdating ko ng balay – aba, naka gown na yung maid ko. Dahil Mayo naman at panahon ng fiesta at Santa Cruzan, hindi na ko nagreklamo. She graciously hopped in the car and off we went.

Dinala ko siya sa pinakababagayan niyang kainan. It’s the most exclusive of all. Kahit na di siya deserving, I wanted to treat her. Dinala ko siya sa Sam’s Club (wholesale warehouse where you can buy stuff in BULK), at heto ang mga pinakain ko sa kanya.

The Teriyaki Salmon – akala ni Diwa, she died and gone to heaven!

Alam ninyo yung mga samples di ba? It entices the people to try the product hoping that they will buy it. YUN ANG TREAT KO SA KANYA. Aba, tuwang tuwa! Sabi niya, “Ati, ngayon lang ako nakatikim ng pagkaing may flavor! Hindi lasang TOYO!! WOW, Tenchu sooooo much!”

Pinag-fiesta ko siya sa mga samples.. at say ninyo, sinaluhan ko pa. Usually, pinaghihintay ko siyang matapos akong kumain bago siya kumain. Shempre no, gusto ko yung pinapaypayan ako habang kumakain ako. Mainit na rito no?!

 

Pag-uwi namin sa bahay after nang grocery shopping, pinag-unload ko siya ng kotse.

Ayan – tulog na tulog na ngayon..

 

Nakaganti na rin ako..
