Yes, I’m talking about you. ;)
Hey you! Yes you. I know that you have some type of a relationship building between here and the Philippines. I also know that you are spending an arm and a leg on phone cards. Get this. You can call a cell phone from the U.S. to the Philippines for only 6.7 cents a minute. Did you know that? Philippine Calling Cards are available at this rate. And you can choose whether you want to purchase minutes to call a land line or a cell phone. Neat huh?
Depending on the country you are calling to and from, you have options to choose which carrier you would like to use. If you have an experience on one carrier and the line is clearer than the rest, you may opt to purchase minutes from it rather than the cheapest offering. The site provides you all that information. Stop buying calling cards from some local store where the reception is bad and the minutes are short. Save some money will you? You know who you are.
Guess who called you? I bet you can’t.
I get phone calls a lot. Most of the people who call me are registered on my cell phone. Yet, there are times when I get a weird phone call and I don’t have the number stored on my cell. I usually get bothered by it specially if they didn’t leave a message. Oftentimes, I get the Who Called Me question and trying to figure it out kills me.
I already placed my cell on the
“No Call List” so I know that people who call me usually got my number from someone I know. Who would be giving out my number anyway? And if it was someone I know, why would they not be on my cell.
Well, now there’s a service to find out who called you just by entering their number and clicking search. It is a web-based application who can tell you the location of the caller, and more detailed information if you so require. If you get a phone call from someone you don’t know – - use the service. Search them on the internet and get results.
Does anyone know what’s going on?
With news from the earthquake in China, the cyclone in Myanmar, the tornadoes sweeping across Arkansas and the natural disasters going around these days. Doesn’t that make you think? I was thinking about that the other day and it felt a little freaky when I think the end of days. Could it be global warming? What is really going on?
One night I was watching the news and there was a Winter Storm advisory in Colorado in the middle of spring!!! My God! I hope someone can explain all these events someday. I’m getting kind of ansy.
Then I saw this video on Youtube about 2012. What the…
How to stop the annoying marketing calls during dinner.
Have you ever been interrupted at dinner by a phone call only to find that that someone wants to sell you a life insurance policy or something? When I have dinner with folks or my friends, I usually turn my phone off just so that we can have a wonderful conversation without the hassles of marketing calls. I even went as far as putting my number on the “No Call List Information” but somehow they still get throught.
Did you know that there is a service called Reverse Cell Phone Lookup? You can actually find out who just called you and even get detailed information about the caller. Yuppers! Marketers beware – we know how to get back at you now.
Not only that – you can use the same service to look up old friends that you have lost touch with. It’s really cool. I put my number in and it actually told me where I’m located. Cool huh? Check it out!
It’s almost summer – - bugs are getting ready to invade your home.
I hate insects. It could be the smallest insect on the planet and I still won’t touch it just because I hate them all. There isn’t a friendly insect in my opinion. The last bad experience I had with an insect was while I was walking Jake (my dog) and a bug flew inside my shirt collar. Trying to get rid of the bug, I flicked my shirt and forgot about it. A little later, while I was blogging actually – I felt this thing crawling up my leg. I lifted my pants and saw this black insect. It was small, looked harmless so, O flicked the bug with my finger. The next morning, I woke up with rashes all over my body. From head to toe!
Now, I have this phobia about bugs. Imagine that same insect in your bed? I’m getting goosebumps just thinking about it. You wouldn’t want to be infested with any kind of insect in your home. Research the ways you can treat your home, keep your sheets washed regularly and read about it. You can protect yourself and your children from these pesty little things if you know more about it. Visit http://www.bedbugsguide.com. Summer is here – they will all be here soon enough.
Now my ex-boyfriend’s friends are into it as well.
Okay, take your mind off the gutter. I’m talking World of Warcraft here. My ex-boyfriend used to tell me about the game and I even played it once or twice but the object is to earn gold and use it to buy armor and other stuff to make your character powerful. You can have as many characters as you want. You can be the good guy or the bad guy – - it’s all in your fantasy and that makes the World of Warcraft fun.
Did you know that it is really hard to get to a level 70? I remember that it was the highest then but it may have changed now. There are professional people out there though that could sell you a high-ranking WoW account. the wow accounts that they sell have already earned much of the gold that you need to be powerful in the gaming world of Warcraft. You can sell your account or buy an account – it’s totally your choice. And there is such a site dedicated to that. They buy or sell wow accounts and if you’re in the market to purchase one or sell the account that you work so hard to maintain, visit their site.
BuyMMOAccounts.com, write about the overall site design, the product, gaming related to World of Warcraft, buying and selling accounts for World of Warcraft. Try to make your review have related content to buying WoW Accounts and World of Warcraft. Have fun!
Iron Man – My new hero~!! A must see!
chuvachienes on Uncategorized
Peeps, I know I’m a couple of weeks late in posting this but if you haven’t done so already – - WATCH IRON MAN!! I fell in love with the movie instantly (and Robert Downey JR. of course)!
This is one movie you wouldn’t want to miss on the big screen. It’s absolutely fantastic, spontaneous and a fun ride!! Not a dull moment on this one.
The actors were super “natural” – Jeff Bridges, Gwyneth Paltrow! Super fabulous cast and excellent special effects.
The tough gets going… my quest for a car to trade in for my SUV
Choices, choices! It’s really tough when you’re shopping for a car. I’m done with SUVs and the trade in price for an SUV has gone down in the last year or so. With high gas prices these days, people are trading in their SUVs for a much more economical car but without giving up the luxury. New Cadillacs Harrisburg PA is a good place to start. I am recently mulling over whether to trade my SUV in for a used car but if I can get a new one with just a couple of hundred dollars in difference, why not right? I was checking websites and found that there are areas in and around me that could provide me a great deal. If you remember my post earlier in the month, I was shopping for a Mercedes Benz C class but since the trade-in value for my SUV has gone down – I don’t think it will be wise for me to do so.
One of the next best thing is a Cadillac. Have you ever ridden in one? It’s like riding on air. I like the swift maneuvers, the luxury it provides and of course – the name. I am pricing new and used cars now and eventually I will be able to decide. Depending on the result of my research – I may or may not go with a used car. A new car does sound good though. My last four cars were bought new and luckily (knock on wood), I have been fortunate with each one of them. Minimal or no troubles and a good amount of life received from those cars.
Since I figured that we’re always going to a have a car payment anyway, trading in my SUV (although less than it would have been if I traded it in last year) would still provide me a great benefit. Besides, I found a dealer that promise a great experience – so what is there to lose?
The Sutliff family has been providing outstanding service to Central PA for over 75 years. Sutliff Chevrolet has been at 13th and Paxton St in Harrisburg since 1931. Saturn of Harrisburg was the first Saturn dealership anywhere. There are now 5 area Saturn locations. Sutliff was chosen among a select group of GM dealers to begin the HUMMER franchise in July 2002, and is now proud to present Cadillac as well. Our goal is to make every customer completely satisfied. We work hard to make your Cadillac experience satisfying.
I decided to treat my maid out to lunch today…
Diba kapag magaling ang trabahador mo, you have to give them a reward. It’s part of my training as a Project Manager. Little wins create Big wins! So, kahit papaano – yung paglagay-lagay niya ng anti-freeze sa cafe ko tuwing umaga or the DORA on my cereals… I feel loved.
So this morning (Sunday), I decided to take her out to lunch. Sabi ko – since you’ve been a great house help, I will treat you out to lunch today. I went to church first and then called her on my cell.
Chuva: Diwa, are you ready for our lunch date?
Diwa: I don’t deserve it. I don’t want to impose.
Chuva: It’s not a big thing. You’ve done so much for me – it’s my treat.
Diwa: Are you certain madame? I could stay home and eat rice and soy sauce.
Chuva: NO! You are coming with me. I haven’t treated any of my maids as slaves and I’m not about to start now. Get ready, I’ll pick you up.

Heart Evangelista wishes Jericho Rosales would stop saying bad things about her. Heart also expressed that she is finally moving on, thanks to the help of her family, especially her mom.
Last week was full of reports about the shocking breakup of Heart Evangelista and Jericho Rosales. While on the set of Codename: Asero in Dubai, StarTalk was able to interview Heart to clear up a couple of things related to their breakup after three years of relationship.
When the going gets tough.
I have been thinking more and more about my car lately. It’s great to have an SUV but i recently attended a party and met this guy who has a white Cadillac. He took me for a ride and I thought the car was awesome. I want to do a switch from my SUV to a sedan so I started looking around for the proper car that I may own next. I was told that you can get a used car these days with great mileage and excellent condition for a good price. I live in South Jersey and it’s a great thing because I can go to any car dealerships in and around my area including offerings from Used Cadillacs Harrisburg PA.
I always heard that you shouldn’t really get used cars because you inherit the headaches of someone else. But I haven’t found this to be the case from my friends who purchased used cars and have gotten a great life out of the car than what I received from the new cars that I’ve purchased over the years? Specially luxury cars. You know that the previous owner didn’t spend that amount of money without taking care of the car as if it’s part of family. =) I know people like that.
In the next few months, I will review my current situation and whether I should trade my SUV for a used car. I may save tons of cash in the process and with the dwindling economy and without a guess on when it will end, I need to review all sorts of options. We shall see.

It’s about time! I have been looking for a site like this for a while.
I have lived in many different cities in my life. The one thing that is difficult when you move around is getting to know the area that you are moving to. Some folks (landlords and such) usually offer you brochures about the area, where the best restaurants are, or where you can find the nearest pharmacy. But there’s more to it than just that and not all landlords offer the same information.
I lived in Los Angeles for two and a half years and it was kinda difficult for me to navigate. I didn’t know where the bad areas are or where to go for a nice dinner. Most recently, I came across the San Diego dining guide to dining. It’s a website put up by people who love San Diego and love food at the same time. It’s a great tool to use to navigate around the San Diego area most specially if you’re just traveling on business, it could be quite handy without having to ask the concierge where you could get a bite to eat.
The site also provides San Diego restaurants coupons to many restaurants in the area. Not only will you find the restaurants, you get a discount coupon too! How about that for a cool website huh?
From San Diego Restaurants to dinner cruises, how could you ever go wrong in San Diego. I must say kudos to the people that put up the website. You can navigate the site by location, by cuisine and most of all – atmosphere. Do you want to dine overlooking the sunset or whatever have you? You’ll find it there. You must check it out. A traveler or a recent transplant to San Diego would appreciate this site very much. I can guarantee it.

Gawa na, complete with French Vanilla cream. Teka teka.. vaket???
Hindi ko po alam ang rason at hindi ko na rin po uusisain. Ang hinala ko lang po eh nilalagyan niya ng anti-freeze yung kape ko tuwing umaga. Alam ko na itong katulong ko ay may paghahangad sa ken. Che! Puwede ba?!

The elimination of Syesha Mercado
It has been an exciting season and most specially having such talents like David Archuleta and David Cook. Syesha is going to go far in the industry as she seem to have the personality to become a star.
The two Davids are headed to the big finale next week. I must say, I am a David Cook fan but David Archuleta is just so cute I could pinch him in the nose. Ha-ha!!
Here they are – - you help us vote for the right David.
Gay is in the air!! Spanish TV airs without edit – a gay kiss.
Wow, I cannot believe this. Are we just preparing for the next democratic administration or what? I know Hillary can still win this. She’s a tough cookie.
Now for the big news – it seems like “Gay is in the air!” I look everywhere and it’s all gay! My straight friends loves hanging out with gays, my gay friends are much happier than ever. Television, movies, newsprints and all the media SCREAMS GAY!!
We are probably moving towards what we have always hoped for – EQUALITY.
Listen to this! Just watch the video after the JUMP. It’s Spain’s version of American Idol called “Operacion Triunfo” which was open to their openly gay contestants. The video cannot anymore tell you the love between these two guys even if you don’t speak Spanish. Enough talk – just watch the vid.
My refuge during rainy days… museums.
It has been raining here on the east coast and will continue to rain until the weekend. Normally during rainy days like these, I usually go to Museums. There are several around the area that would astound you with varied collections from different artists around the globe. But East Coast cities and West Coast cities are not the only places where you can find great artwork collections. You can travel as far as Orange, Texas to find the Stark Museum of Art. One of the most impressive museums in the country, they boast of their wide range collection that includes Western Art, American Indian Art, Rare Books and Manuscripts to name a few.
The Stark Museum of Art is an establishment located in the City of Orange, Texas. Located on the Texas Gulf Coast, this two-story facility contains an extensive collection of artwork, with a great focus on American Western art and artifacts. The Stark Museum was founded by the Nelda C. and H. J. Lutcher Stark Foundation.
The museum grounds cover an entire city block, and the building itself houses almost 15,000 square feet of exhibition space. [1] This museum has an extensive collection of paintings and sculptures, which features, but is not limited to, the contributions of artists such as the following:
* John Young-Hunter (1874-1955)
* H. S. “Andy” Anderson (Wood Carving Sculptor)
* Paul Kane (September 3, 1810 – February 20, 1871)
* Albert Bierstadt (1830-1902)
* Thomas Moran (February 12, 1837 – August 25, 1926)
* Louis Prang (1824-1909)
* William Herbert Dunton
* Buck McCain
* Alexandre Hogue (1898-1994)
* Walter Ufer (1876-1936)
* Frederic Remington (October 4, 1861 – December 26, 1909)
* Charles M. Russell (1864 – 1926)
* James Earle Fraser (November 4, 1876 – October 11, 1953)
* William Robinson Leigh (1866-1955)
* John James Audubon (1785-1851)
This facility has a collection of life-like porcelain models of birds crafted by artists such as English designer Dorothy Doughty and American artist Edward Marshall Boehm. Also notable, this museum also houses the only complete set of bowls known as The United States in Crystal, which was made by Steuben Glass Works. Each bowl in this remarkable set is engraved with a scene to represent each one of the 50 states’ history. They also have a huge collection of Native American Craftwork, Navajo rugs and blankets, and Pueblo pottery. Featured artwork by Maria Martinez reveals the skills of Native American Artist. Even if you are not an art person I think you will find that these are interesting.
I beg you, please listen to me. It’s for your benefit. ;)
I was trying to find a good source of information to provide a friend of mine regarding web hosting. She has one of the rising and most influential blogs that I know for 2008. She has achieved and exceeded traffic of the blogs that have been established for years and she did this within the first three months of blogging. However, she has her blog hosted on one of those free hosting sites. I think she can get more out of her blog if she hosts it with a professional company specializing in web hosting services.
If found information regarding linux web hosting and dicussions about whether you should go for cheap web hosting or go for the more expensive one. There seems to be a lot of factors involved including disk space they provide, bandwidth, and extra services. I am compiling my list so I can recommend companies for her when she’s ready. I really hope that she does it soon because she has a good level of support in the blogosphere and if her site keeps hanging because it can’t handle the volume, I’m afraid she will lose her loyal readers.
I’ll get it to you soon!!

THE KISS
by Sara Teasdale
Before you kissed me only winds of heaven
Had kissed me, and the tenderness of rain -
Now you have come, how can I care for kisses
Like theirs again?
I sought the sea, she sent her winds to meet me,
They surged about me singing of the south -
I turned my head away to keep still holy
Your kiss upon my mouth.
And swift sweet rains of shining April weather
Found not my lips where living kisses are;
I bowed my head lest they put out my glory
As rain puts out a star.
I am my love’s and he is mine forever,
Sealed with a seal and safe forevermore -
Thank you that I could let a beggar enter
Where a king stood before?
I receive many tags and to tell you the truth, I would love to do them all. It’s only that lack of time sometimes prohibit me from doing them. I should really manage my time more effectively because I feel bad. These people tag me because they have come to know me and it is in good faith that I should return the favor.
Now that school is over – I do have some time for tags. A very pretty cat and a lesbian fairie tagged me on with the kissable tag. I found it fun so I said, why not? The tag is really simple.
“Kissable” Tag Procedure:
1. Post a picture of yourself wearing your favorite colored lipstick.
2. Tag two or more bloggers.
3. And don’t forget to link the blogger who tagged you!
I am passing this kissable tag to: joanjoyce, and my celebrity blogger friend, julia.
Don’t forget to do this tag sis!!!
Kissable lips ba?
Online Dating – no longer has the stigma that it once had.
I’m itching for a date. Gosh, it’s been almost a year since my ex-boyfriend and I broke up. I am not the bar/club type and I really hate going out to those places to meet my partner. My experience (except for my very first boyfriend) was that relationships I formed from bars never really worked out. That’s just my opinion.
I had a friend though who found his perfect match from an online dating service. They’ve been together now for more than a year and still going strong. Gone were the days that online types of dating was frowned upon. It’s not easy to meet people these days. You either have to go out on a regular basis or post an ad somewhere to reach more people than you normally would by attending weddings and parties. Do you think I should do it?
I would like to give it a try and hopefully find my one and true soulmate. I’ll keep you guys posted.
I’m going to Germany and The Netherlands!
It’s true, it’s true!! My company is sending me to Frankfurt, Germany for a month. It’s too bad Manay Beng is no longer there. I am in involved in a very high profile project at work which would require me to travel. I am a bit excited and a bit concerned as well because a month seems too long. Just imagine living in a suitcase for that long.
I have already told my maid to take good care of my son Jake. Uhuh! My son is a dog, Shih Tzu breed. He’s only seven months old and still require a lot of TLC. Fortunately, I don’t have to spend a gazillion amount to send him to the kennel. I will owe my maid big time (dinner at Thai Taste maybe?) for this favor.
So, if you’re in Frankfurt and you can accommodate me for a tour any weekend in June, I would gladly accept your invitation – hahaha!! Kapal ba?!
I have to go for now.. I’ll post pictures of my trip when I get back.
June 8th 2008. Needing or Deserving – you be the judge.
Hey peeps! The Renuzit TriScents “Transform Your Home with Tanya Memme” Promotion has selected their finalists. The contest will end on June 8, 2008 Visit the semi-finalist gallery and vote for your fave. You can vote once per day, everyday until June 7th to give someone a chance for a $20,000 home makeover provided by Renuzit. I am actually torn between the finalists because I’m trying to judge between “needing and deserving”. Who needs it most versus who deserves it is quite a task.
I am really inclined to vote for the family that has been forced out of their home and now living in a small house. The only thing is, there really wasn’t any reason why they were forced out of their previous home and that leaves me wondering. I think that they deserve it more than the rest because they are doing it for their children and that the improvement will not necessarily be used for aesthetic reasons only but rather a “must do” for them to be able to live under better conditions. I think that people should live in conditions that are healthy (specially for kids) and if they have a chance to change the way they live today through a makeover, they should get it. Simply beautifying a home for someone for aesthetics for me, is lower than a needed renovation to raise someone’s quality of life.
I will post the picture here later of the contestant that I voted for. Let me know if you agree.
I have great news!!
Hello peeps!! I have some very exciting news and I will reveal it sometime today. It came as a surprise to me but I am glad about it. I definitely think that I deserve it and another chance for me to spread my wings even wider.
Wait for my post later today – - I’m really excited.

Build a gaming PC on your and and save $$$!
I always wanted to build my own PC. Although prices have dropped considerably when you purchase a personal PC, I feel that assembling my own still gives me the benefit to customize my own and add things that wouldn’t necessarily come with a pre-built PC. You can add as much or as little components you want according to your needs. I am always curious anyway about how PC’s get put together and how it all fits the puzzle.
I’m a diy (or Do-it-Yourself) kind of person anyways. I’d like to assemble things on my own and get the prime satisfaction whenever I get something to work. If the illustrations and instructions are there (and they provide me manufacturer’s warranties on the parts), how difficult could it be? And besides it will be a learning experience for me. Just imagine how good a gaming computer I could build. My ex-boyfriend plays World of Warcraft and and if he gets to build his own -I’m sure he’ll be more satisfied and addicted to his game he would be. (As if he’s not already there!) Plus, you can save hundreds in the process!! Haha!
Easy As My PC offers gaming computer kits that anyone can assemble. They test components, offer fully illustrated instructions and manufacturer warranties.
Easy AS My PC Kits include everything you need to build your own computer. We include plain English instructions with lots of illustrations. You can also get upgrade kits to increase your ram or replace your CPU. All you need is a screwdriver and we can help you save $100′s. You’ll be amazed at what you can build!
