My first day in Germany – - – what fun.
Here’s a glimpse of the Frankfurt Skyline.
I received an email from Agathe. Yes, she is our Project Manager here in our Germany office. She said, “Would you like us to take you around Frankfurt when you arrive on Sunday? If you do, just let me know. Here’s my cell number: 0151 XXXX XXX” Cheers! Agathe.
On the way here, dahil nga one month akong mag-iistay dito – I want to make sure that I was fully stocked with cigarettes dahil ayokong bumili ng cigarettes na pagkamahal mahal. Sabi ko, kung sa U.S. nagbabayad ako ng $6.00, hindi ako magbabayad ng 6 euros no?!!! So, before I left – I purchased a carton of cigarettes dun sa Duty Free. Sabi ko – huwaw, naka tipid. $2.90 per pack lang ang binayaran ko. When I got on the plane, during the flight we were offered yet another chance to buy duty-free cigs. Dahil nga gahaman ako, I purchased another carton.
I arrived at 6:15 a.m. Shogud ang ditseh from the flight cause hindi ako makatulog dahil wafu yung German na katabi ko. Pinanood ko siyang matulog. Hehe!! Kuha ng bagahe, daan sa Customs. The gentleman stopped me and asked to see what stuff I had inside the duty-free bag. He told me that I am only allowed to bring in one carton. Politely, I apologized and told him I didn’t know. So, he pulled me aside and told me that I would have to pay taxes on the extra carton of cigarettes. Do you know how much the tax was? 30 EUROS~!!!!! Opo mga kabords~~! Imbis na makamura, napamahal pa ang ditseh nyo!!! Imbyerna ang beauty ko.. pero para makalayas na lang.. I paid my dues and off I went.
Nagyosi ako ng husto sa labas dahil sa inis ko.. pinakita ko talagang ine-enjoy ko yung yosi ko.. letche! After that, I took the Airport shuttle to my hotel. Imbis na maliligo lang ako at lalabas kami nila Agathe, naligo ako at natulog. Mga ateng… alas tres na ko nagiseng?! Ano na nangyari sa Frankfurt City Tour ko~!!!!
Ayun, biglang dial ng number ang lowlah – - tamang tama naman – - on the way na raw si Agathe to pick me up. Tayo ulit ako – ligo at nag-ready for our Frankfurt City Tour.
Heto ang mga piktyurakas.. haller!!! Kahit puyat ang lola ninyo.. hindi sumuko.. lumabas pa rin…
