Cross country is still the best. Motorhomes - the way to go.
I remember a story that my sisters told me. They were here in the U.S. before I came with my sister. My parents lived with them and of course, my parent’s didn’t work. They came here to assist my sister with caring for her children. That’s the usual role of Pinoy grandparents who come here. But they wanted to reward my parents for taking care of the kids so they went across country in an RV. My dad used to tell me how fun it was and how much they saw on the way from the east to the west and then back. It must have been fantastic.
I have never done that and there are times I wish I could just pack up and go. Motorhomes are great to go traveling cross country because you have everything that you need. You can camp out, and sleep like a real person without having to survive the rigors of trying to sleep on a reclined seat. They actually talked about wildlife that they saw and the nature around them. I could picture it and I could smell the burning camp fire. One day, I will do that. I will travel with friends or family using an RV and just enjoy everything that life can offer. There are still many things undiscovered out there that I would like to see and enjoy. One day - - one of these good ole days.
