The economy is not doing so good. The housing market issue hasn’t hit bottom yet. The people are afraid to spend because of these unknowns. I don’t blame them – I am doing the same as well. Starting next month, I will cease subscribing to cable TV. I never have the time to watch TV anyways. And if I need to watch my favorite programs – I’ll either go to Youtube or the network sites and watch the episodes from there. I am cutting costs. Brown-bagging my lunch will not only be a choice for me when I get back to the US – it will be a must. My electric bill has skyrocketed compared to last month. High energy prices shrinks my expendable income. We have to think of ways to stretch the dollar. It’s not that easy but everyone has to start somewhere. I really hope the economy picks up soon. Arrrgghh!
