Car rental is another option – - when I get home.
You see, my sister who lives in Maryland gave her car to her newlywed daughter. She is generous like that. I remember when she gave her car to my dad before and the other one before that to my brother. You can never fault her because it is in her blood. She is just totally giving.
So when she heard that I will be in Germany for a month, she was wondering who would be using my car during the time that I am gone. I told her, “No one.” She asked if she could borrow my car (and offered to pay for the monthly payment for the month of June) and return it when I come back. I, of course would not say no to her. She’s been so generous that I didn’t even mind.
Now that I am returning home, I didn’t speak to her as to when she’s going to return the car. I arrive in the U.S. tomorrow and I haven’t even arranged a pick up from the airport. My roommate thought it would be best to obtain a car rental until my sister returns my car over the weekend. Not a bad idea. I may just do that. I hope she calls me soon though cause I want to go to Atlantic City for the weekend.
