Many of you have probably seen this video because it has become a viral video being shared by many all over the internet. Matt Harding doing the “dance” all over 42 countries, including Tagaytay, Philippines in 14 months. He has become a Youtube phenomenon.
But who is Matt Harding? Read his story and watch the video after the jump. Since Reyna Elena has quit his corporate job, he is probably wondering what to do next. Reyna, here’s a suggestion. I think you’re going to have fun doing it. Do it like Matt did…dance like no one is watching. I enjoy seeing people taking that big chance – there’s a whole world out there waiting to be discovered. People should travel more – - the people, the places, the sunrise, the sunsets – - they all make a great story.

TV Ratings: “The Singing Bee” grabs the lead from “Dyesebel” in May NUTAM Ratings
ABS-CBN’s The Singing Bee overtook the lead from GMA-7′s Dyesebel by a slim .2 percent margin. According to the latest survey report prepared by AGB Nielsen Media Research Philippines among nationwide households for the whole month of May, Cesar Montano’s karaoke game show registered a 32.6 percent rating against Deysebel‘s 32.4 tally.
Last April, Dyesebel—topbilled by Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes—outmuscled The Singing Bee in the primetime category to secure the top spot for the Top Weekday Primetime Programs. The legendary Mars Ravelo creation totaled a rating of 35.7 percent while The Singing Bee registered a score of 33.7 percent.
“Serbis” will be screened locally starting June 25

The much talked about Filipino film that competed in the 61st Cannes International Film Festival will finally be screened in select theaters starting June 25. Brillante “Dante” Mendoza’s indie film Serbis has been given a rating of R-18 by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
The indie film was deemed controversial when critics gave it mixed reviews and when Coco Martin’s manager expressed disapproval over his ward’s sensitive scenes in the movie.
Eight more days – - I’m coming home…
It didn’t seem so long ago when I left for Germany. I thought a month was a loooooooooooong time. I had no idea that it could go by this quickly. I have shared my journey with you although, it’s very hard to come back to the hotel late at night after dinner and drinks with colleagues (every night) and post the pictures.
A little bit delayed in posting the pics but I do hope that you will still share the journey with me. Ang sarap ng buhay ko rito sa totoo lang. Medyo pagod na pagod lang talaga from working late nights and then out to dinner and drinks. I usually get back to the hotel at midnight. Pero mga ka-bords – ang ganda ng panahon dito and did you know that it is the Euro 2008!! Oo mga ka-bords – football is soo big here. Grabe – all over Europe. Tonight was the game between Germany and Portugal. Germany won again!!! Woohoo!! Mahal ko na ang mga players ng football dito!!

The world is really changing and I like it! Heinz Companies, the makers of ketchup and mayo has an ad that ran in the U.K. showing two men share a tasty kiss. At the beginning of the ad, you wouldn’t even suspect it. The setting was the usual family rush in the morning while getting ready to go to work or school. Although the guy in the kitchen seem to resemble a New York deli man, complete with a New York accent.

Heinz is set to challenge some viewer expectations with a light-hearted TV campaign that features two men sharing a kiss.
The TV commercial, which promotes a new range of dressing called Heinz Deli Mayo, breaks tonight and will be supported by a press campaign.
Heinz’ new ad opens with a family on a normal morning routine with a young boy and girl getting ready for school and their father preparing for the office.

Yesterday, June 18, Ruffa was formally introduced as the new endorser of the Belo Medical Group Inc. The event formalized her separation from the Calayan Surgicenter, which she used to represent together with her feisty mother Annabelle Rama. Ruffa Gutierrez insists there’s no bad blood between her and popular cosmetic surgeon Dr. Manny Calayan.

My trip has been a mixture of emotions: homesickness, excitement, and most of all – - a love story. Hahaha! Yes, I am that gullible. The trip is a success, work-wise. I was glad that it is almost coming to an end because I miss my dog, I miss my house and I miss my maid.. YUCK!! Haha!
The days here in Frankfurt are nice – a couple hot days and rain here and there for a few minutes but the whole trip has been exhilarating to say the least.
If only I could afford it right now, I would do it.
I have a friend who has a brother that made lots of money by having several small businesses. He started a few nail salons in the city of Philadelphia, and grew his business with prompt and great customer service. After he made his millions from it, he moved to Texas to join a partner in setting up a casino. The business was successful as well but I guess running a casino is no small feat. There are many regulations you have to comply with and so forth. He decided that after a few profitable years, he would return to our area.
Without much thinking, he bought a home (in cash) in one of the prominent areas around here in South Jersey. A few months later, he decided that he wanted a bigger home for his family so he bought another one. With the real estate market going down, he offered me to purchase previous home. A home which is simple but very attractive. I actually fell in love with the exterior shutters on the windows which adds very much to the character of the home. I really want to buy the home but I am not financially able at this time. This would mean that I would have to either rent my home now and purchase his home.
I guess it wouldn’t hurt to try. I really would love to own his home but it’s quite pricey. I may have to give it more thought.
Get the stink out.. use an air purifier.
My maid has been cleaning our house since I’ve been away. I’ve been here in Europe for the last two weeks and she is bragging how clean the house is while I’m away. Hey hey hey! I’m not messy – - just a little too unorganized. With all her bragging, I asked her about the third floor in our house because throughout the whole winter, we were both too wimpy to go outside and smoke. So, I allowed her to smoke upstairs provided that she uses the air purifier.
The difference it made when I bought an air cleaner is amazing! The third floor used to wreak of cigarette smoke but ever since I purchased the air purifier… the smell in the room went away and you can actually tell that the air has been cleaned when you go up there. She said that the third floor has been cleaned as well and blatantly told me, “Yes, master – - the air purifier is always on!”
I couldn’t tell you how much of a difference it made but if you visit a website about air cleaners, you can learn about the benefits of getting rid of nasty lingering cigarette smoke smell, or even help you get rid of allergies due to allergens in the air most specially during summer and spring. I saw this on Anderson Cooper last Friday evening and they said that the popcorn popping using cellphones is a hoax. What do you think? Here are several videos to show you. Gabby Concepcion reveals plan for Father’s Day with his dad

A week has passed since action superstar Rudy Fernandez passed away, and it’s been only three days since he was buried at Heritage Park. Now alone and facing the future, Rudy’s widow Lorna Tolentino ponders what to do and how to go on with life without her husband of 25 years.
A few hours after the actor’s burial, StarTalk’s Lolit Solis interviewed her co-host and friend Lorna on her plans regarding everything Daboy left behind.
“Ngayon na mag-isa ka na lang at wala na si Rudy, ano ang nasa isip mo ngayon?” Lolit asked.
“Parang kagaya din noon na live each day at a time,” Lorna answered. “Yun ang parati kong sinasabi, di ba? Na mahirap pangunahan yung pwedeng mangyari. Basta’t kung ano na lang, paggising mo sa umaga, saka mo na isipin kung ano dadating at kung ano pa at dapat gawin. Parang ayoko i-plano.”

I’m thinking about a day spa – I wonder if it will work?
Do you remember my friend who finished Interior Design last year who has moved to Chicago? Well, the market for Interior Designers at this time has become as dry as the mortgage crisis. There are so many homes right now that are in foreclosure so in reality, there are no one looking to design homes. I guess it’s a trickle effect. I talked with him right after he quit his last job. He recommended that we both go to school to become an aesthetician and then open our own business. Sounds like a good idea but it the course would take us one year to complete (going full time) and where would we get the capital?
As much as the economy has gone down in recent months, there are still the select few who gets a regular massage, or a skin therapy (facial treatment) just because. I know Dr. Vicki Belo became rich and famous because she found her niche in celebrities and has now expanded her empire into other things like liposuction, or botox treatments. Maybe it will work. The problem is this… where would we get our capital?

There’s no sense in keeping the money because it’s not good business for them. Therefore, I think we’re going to go through with it. Na-cancel kasi kahapon ang taping ni Gabby para sa teleseryeng ginagawa niya para sa ABS-CBN kasama si Claudine Barretto, ang Iisa Pa Lamang. May biglaan daw kasing changes sa production kaya na-cancel ang taping.
Ibinalita naman ni Gabby na nakatakda siyang umalis ng bansa sa August para sa ilang shows.

Did I tell you guys that my car was hit at the train station parking lot by a heartless unknown someone who didn’t even leave a note that he hit my car. The total cost? 1850.00 USD. Yuppers peeps, that’s how much the repair would cost. To think that I just recently updated my deductible to 750.00 USD from the standard or usual deductible of 500.00 USD. Now, I have to shell out $750.00 out of my own pocket to get the car repaired. Could you imagine if I didn’t have any insurance?
I think that I’m luckier than my sister who lives in New York. I don’t know what it’s about but in New York, it seems like incident like that happen more often than not. I saw her van recently and sheesh, you might as well not buy a car to get beat up like that by people who don’t care if they hit you or not. They just leave. Having Van Insurance had saved her lots of money to get their family van repaired. Almost every other month, they get hit just from not being parked inside a garage. I guess that’s the chance you take when you buy a car and it’s either you protect yourself to pay a higher insurance premium by lowering your deductible or move your deductible up for less insurance premium. Either way, you have to pay something.
I got it repaired immediately and my insurance broker actually felt bad that I had to pay $750.00 for someone else’s fault. The car was back to its original state after I picked it up from the auto shop. That was three months ago. Guess what I just discovered recently? My car got hit again on the same exact spot that was just repaired. Sometimes, you just can’t win. I guess another $750.00 to pay for me. Arrrgghhh!!! Thank goodness for insurance!

I didn’t know that staying in Germany for one month is going to make me crazy! I’m not saying that I am not having fun here.. it’s a blast! The problem is, I can’t get away from my co-workers. This week was a bit uneventful dahil work to death kami talaga… after work, we go out to have dinner and then we drink whatelse? Beer!
Heto ang chika ko… may ka-office mate ako rito – who is only 32 years old. Crush ko na siya unang kita ko pa lang. Pero ang hirap nitetch, hindi siya sumasama sa mga gimmick! Anak ng….!!!! Pero, kilatisin ninyo kung anong hitsura niya ha and let me know.

Countless stars pay last respects to Daboy on final night of his wake
Ang ika-limang araw ng burol ng yumaong aktor na si Rudy Fernandez sa Heritage Park ang maituturing na pinaka-star-studded. Nagdatingan kasi ang napakaraming mga artista upang magbigay-pugay sa aktor sa necrological service na isinagawa kagabi, June 11.
Pero bago ang necrological service ay dumating noong hapon ang Governor ng Lipa City at tinaguriang Star For All Seasons na si Vilma Santos. Nagkatambal sina Vilma at Daboy sa pelikulkang Makahiya at Talahib noong 1977.
Goodbye, Daboy
It’s a very sad moment for the fans of Daboy. I was actually sad just because he is an icon in Philippine cinema. He is next to FPJ when it comes to action movies. They have taken away FPJ and now Daboy. I wish Lorna (LT) and her kids the strength to carry on without him. What a loss!

I think I’ve seen it all. Sometimes, you wonder how people find the right one. How often have I asked people, “When you met him, how did you know that it was going to be IT?” And they always reply, “You just know!”
I never got that. I always thought that I would never have that feeling. Until one day, out of the blue – he walked into my life. Then and there, I knew it. IT was him! We just find the right people at the most unpredictable situations and the weirdest of moments. Just like the millions of American men who found true love meeting Russian women whether online or through post. Distance doesn’t count, and even language barriers are broken just because when you find IT, that’s it. The time and the place doesn’t matter and if you keep on searching you will eventually find them.
People have their own ways and some people prefer to not chase butterflies and sit still. And when they do, the butterfly sometimes fly over to them and stay. There is no reason to be lonely.
