How are you faring out with your bills these days?

Everyone has bills. Gas and Electric, Mortgage, Rent, Water, Cable TV, Cell Phone and so forth. Sometimes we get caught in the middle of which bill to pay. With the recession upon us, we have to manage our bills efficiently. Which one is more important, the cable bill or the mortgage? It seems easy but how do you rate with managing your bills? How would you do if you take the Bills IQ? You will probably be surprised.I took the test myself and fortunately I scored a good score -I got a 90% but it could still be better. Unless I’m debt-free, I will not be able to go above that. There are many things I can do to make my score higher. I could pay down my debt some more or for some, it may be even advisable to go into credit counseling if you can’t handle your bills. It’s wise to know where you spend you hard-earned income. Always check you credit card statements, check the interest rates, check you bank statements and make sure that there are no additional charges that you aren’t aware of.

  1. Congratulations on the great score! If only the rest of us were scoring in the 90 percentile we would be out of this recession in no time.
