Classes are about to start again… should I even enroll this semester?

Yes folks. Chuva is going back to school. I am currently attending the School of Business in Camden, New Jersey. Camden is famous and known to be one of the most dangerous cities in the United States. For some reason, it’s above Miami this year which was at one point took the number one spot. Before I started attending school there, I was really terrified. I didn’t know what to expect and to tell you the truth, I was tempted to carry an M18L Air Teaser laser just to feel safe. Haha!! Well, it is not legal in New Jersey to own stun guns so I opted for a much lesser self defense tool.

I carry a 118 dB Key Chain Personal Alarm just in case. During school hours however, the place is pretty safe. There are security guards stationed at every corner around the school and should anyone try to do anything to me, I could sound the alarm and I could easily ward them off knowing that security guards could come at any given moment. The school I go to is great and I don’t even think that the city of Camden is getting the proper publicity. It’s really not that bad and the people that I’ve come across while in Camden are pretty friendly folks as well. As long as you have your wits about you - you’ll be fine.   It’s really about how you conduct yourself at any given situation.  I believe that if you know yourself well, you know if danger is nearby.  You have been given that gift.  There is that little voice that tells you what to avoid and where it is safe.  Follow them as well and you’ll be okay.

This will be my second year and a couple more years to go before I get my Bachelor’s Degree. I’m not going to stop though. I plan on completing my degree.  I will not let something like “Camden” stop me from getting my degree.
