Everyone and their mother that I know are into opening up their own “tech” business. Either they offer domain re-selling or offer web hosting. I don’t exactly know the trick with that but somehow, some of them can offer Cheap Web Hosting than the rest. It’s either they buy in bulk and re-sell the hosting for a profit or whatever the case maybe. I just know that it is a lucrative business and if learned, it could be a great money maker.
As you all know, my term is almost up with my current web host and with the experience that I have had recently – I’m not sure I’m going to renew my contract with them. No one really seem to help you when you need the “tech” guys to help you with technical problems. One time, I actually felt like I was being rushed to hang up the phone just so that he could say he resolved my issue. I was like, “Hold on mister – my issue isn’t resolved yet!” Of course, cheaper is not always better so I still have to weigh my options but at least I know that I have options. If I get a better service and can get it cheaper, it’s just icing on the cake. I am still looking so when I find one, I will let you guys know about my experience. If it gets me to move over, that means I found something better.
