Although my favorite (Jessica Sanchez) didn’t win American Idol Season 11, I would still like to congratulate Phillip Phillips. From the title of this post, you may sense a bit of bitterness and I am a little bit bitter. Life goes on though. Phillip Phillips will have his teenie bopper followers buying his albums, and […]
Tonight’s Finale of American Idol was disheartening to say the least. I was rooting for my girl, Jessica Sanchez (hello!!) and refused to believe all other websites and blogs that the power of WGWG (White Guy With Guitar) phenomenon continues to exist. But it is the truth and I’ve learned my lesson. I’m sorry but […]
Fans of Jessica Sanchez were wondering if the third song that was sung by the last two finalists on American Idol Season 11 had to be original or not. This came about when someone tweeted a video of the song that was sung by Phillip Phillips, entitled HOME where the finalists actually received a standing […]
Last night, as I was live-tweeting the events on the American Idol Performance show, I was getting requests from my tweeps to stream the show live. I have no idea how to do a live stream but thank goodness, there are sites that offer the live stream which I can offer you below: Video streaming […]
I’m not sure if the voting has ended for the world just yet. I spent four hours last night, together with five friends, power-voting for Jessica Sanchez. Twitter was exploding with predictions and fans supported their “predicted idol” more fiercely last night than the weeks before. My friends and I took to phones, iPads, iPhones, […]
While passing through the Casino in Montreal, which I wasn’t able to visit by the way because I was more inclined to do “other things”, I remember a vacation I had with a group of friends in Las Vegas. We headed out there on a spontaneous adventure not thinking what to do or where to go while in Vegas. It was Sherwin, John Batu, Jhun, Soonyee and I who decided that we should go to Las Vegas to have fun. We hadn’t a clue on what awaits us when we got there. It turned out that there are plenty of things to do in Las Vegas. We headed out to the bars at night and went sightseeing during the day. We even went to model homes just to see what the fuzz was all about with the booming Las Vegas location at that time. Of course, we played a little – we went to New York, New York, visited the Eiffel Tower in Paris Casino, went to see the flower decoration at the most famous Casino Resort known as the Bellagio. It was awesome! Of course, since I’m a celebrity blogger, we tried to go to Palms Casino as well to find out if we will have any celebrity sightings. No, we didn’t see any celebrities but the experience in itself was fun! The food there was so cheap we almost ate our body weight while in Vegas. And we’re not talking cheap food here – these are prime cuts of Prime Rib, and buffet like you couldn’t imagine. We must have gained a few pounds while we were there. Our next spontaneous trip? Chicago!! We have to find things to do in Chicago before the end of the summer, and…listen to this! We are planning a weekend in New York as well and participate in New York City tours!!! How’s that for an uneventful summer huh?The best way to tour Las Vegas is to go on Trusted Tours and Attractions for their online travel guides and see what they have to offer. Cristo Redentor Ha! I know! But I have a good excuse. I have a 5-year visa and I don’t want to waste the money I paid for it. Yes – this is my fourth year in a row to visit the same country, I get it! It’s hard to resist. I love the country…. Try [...]
I meant to blog about this at the exact moment that I read that no CCTV footage will be provided by NAIA officials to assist in the investigation of the Mon Tulfo, Raymart Santiago, and Claudine Barretto fist fight at NAIA 3. The reason? CCTV at NAIA 3 aren’t functioning. Well, is NAIA 3 being [...]
It has been 17 years since my mom passed away. I still miss her advice, her gentleness. You see, I’m the youngest in the family. I’m the “mama’s boy”. I remember when I was a little child, my mom was my constant comfort. She was there when I came home from school. She tucked me [...]
This is something that will warm your heart. I saw this video today and was amazed by 6-year old Ethan Walmark, playing and singing Billy Joel’s Piano Man. You see, Ethan suffers from autism (struggling with social interaction). The kid has an amazing talent for music and sings amazingly beautiful with his dad, I think. [...]
