Food, food – glorious food!
These are the food that we ate while in Montreal. Can you imagine eating at a Filipino Restaurant in Montreal?! Well, we did! The food was good too! I didn’t particularly like their ‘binagoongang baboy‘ because it was too bland. Isn’t it supposed to be a bit saltier than normal because of the ‘bagoong’? Oh well. At least you will know that when you’re in Montreal and you start craving for rice – - there’s always Bahay Kubo.
First at Est Asie (East Asia):
Shempre, si Chuva mahilig sa pan fried noodles. Oks lang sya, nothing spectacular about it.
This will be my order next time. Mukhang masarap siya. It’s curried chicken with fried kangkong on the sides. O divey? Fried kangkong – AS IN!!
Then, one day we took the train to eat Pinoy Food sa Bahay Kubo:
Ang kanilang “binagoongang baboy” coupled with “pancit malabon”.
Heto, di ko mawari – “menudo ba or igado”? Hmmm…
Of course, the famous “killing me softly” chovaloo! Lechong Kawali!
Habang lumalafang kami rito, may nasight ang manay Coletchina. Isang ale na kumakain ng chorvaloo sa tabing table. Ask agad ang Coletchina, “Saan ninyo nakuha yan?” Sagot naman ni Miss, “Diyan lang po sa kabila. Mauubos na kaya bilisan ninyo!!
Dali-dali kaming kumain just to make sure that this “precious commodity” doesn’t run out! Sure enough, after we have finished eating – we all rushed to the store. And what is it? LANZONES!!!!!!!!!!!
After the kabundatan, it’s time to head back to the hotel. Eto ang bumulagta sa ken?
When people ask me to go with them anywhere, and I am given a choice which to take. Escalator or Stairs?
I only have one response.
I DON’T DO STAIRS GURL!
Till next time!!
Chorva Chorva!
