Giña Pareno and Krista Ranillo clash in “MMK”
Gina Pareño, the actress who was part of the “Rehas” episode that won in the 2007 Seoul Drama Awards, will again showcase her acting prowess in a tear jerking episode in ABS-CBN’s drama anthology show.
In the August 9 episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya, Ms. Gina will be portraying a role of a grandmother who tries hard to be the mom of all of her grandchildren. Krista Ranillo, the cover girl of the August 2008 issue of FHM Magazine, is cast as the daughter of Elena (Gina). Character actor Janus del Prado will play Krista’s husband in this MMK episode directed by Don Cuaresma.
The people behind the program Maalala Mo Kaya are very thankful for the viewers who continuously give their support to the show now that it is airing in its new day and timeslot. The MMK production and staff have been receiving positive comments through emails as well.
