A special dinner for a special occasion…
O diba mga ‘teng?! Naimbitahan ang Chuva Chienes sa isang special dinner (cannot disclose dahil TOP SECRET chorvaloo!) na very pleasant and surprising naman. It was a mini celebration dahil nga his brother-in-law recently passed away at the age of 42. Medyo shocked kaming lahat dahil we’ve seen him in so many family pictures ng prend ko and to think that he’s no longer here is really sad.
Kaya naman ang celebration nito was very quiet indeed dahil nga hindi naman siguro tama kung mag-celebrate kami ng birthday niya na may mga paputok at lucis pa ‘no?
We celebrated his birthday at their beautiful home and medyo nakakailang nga dahil we were a bit confused whether it’s going to be a dead party (lamay) and to grieve with him or rock my world party and celebrate with him. In any case, we did both. We extended our condolences and celebrated his birthday at the same time.

Nakikita ba ninyo yang spread na yan?! Talagang tig-i-tig-isa kaming lobster!!!
Na-eksayt nga ang ditse ninyo, akala ko may sex after dinner. You never get lobster dinner unless you’re going to get it afterwards no?!!

At hindi lang yon. Sa buong history ng buhay ko, ayaw na ayaw ko ng TULYA, ahinan mo na ko ng talong, huwag lang TULYA dahil talagang hate ko siya. Iba pala ‘tong klase ng TULYANG itetch!!
Pero in fairview, ng matikman ko ‘to with a little dash of lemon juice and hot chili sauce, ang feeling ko parang nag-resign na si GMA!!! Ang sarap mga ka-bords!!!
Kaya kaming dalawa ng katulong ko, after dinner parang may lamang hallow blocks ang mga tiyan namin sa busog. Gusto ko talagang mag-purge afterwards dahil hindi ko talaga napigilan ang pagkain ko sa sobrang sarap!!!
Thanks to Gilbert and Lee! Happy Birthday Gilbert and at the same time Happy Anniversary as well (they celebrated their 12th year anniversary last Sunday, August 10th).
