Hahaha! Mga ka-bords!! Naku po, kung alam ninyo lang. It was the weirdest thing. I was supposed to have a few drinks with co-workers tonight because a couple of our colleagues are leaving the company and there was a going away chorva. I really wanted to go and one of my buddies there, “Billy”, was supposed to come out with us tonight. It turned out, his wife has to go shopping and he has to take care of the baby for the night… Awwwwww… how sweet! LECHE! In-Indian niya ko! I even drove to work so that we could hang out. Hmmf!
Anyway, what happened thereafter was quite amusing.. that is why this song is playing right now. I didn’t want to drive home during rush hour so I called Joey to see what he was doing. Well, he’s still fixing up his house (that he bought last year!!!) so he could move in within the next couple of months. My goodness. I don’t know how one person could have that much patience to do all the work that he’s done in that house. He discovered that there was a brick wall behind the plastered wall downstairs and thought that it could give the house more character if he exposed the bricks. Well, it really looks nice but kailangan niyang tibagin yung wall plaster, one square foot at a time. Josko ‘DAY! Nakita ko pa lang yung trabaho, napagod na ko. I’m more of a buy-and-move-in kinda person. Ayoko ng maraming kuchi-kuchi!
Anyway, after I depressed Joey with the tired look on my face thinking on the things that he still has to do, we decided to have dinner sa Nam Phuong. A Vietnamese restaurant in the city. Pagkatapos naming kumain (and talked for hours), na-eebakchina na aketch. Sabi ko, “Hoy Joey, uuwi na ko dahil baka abutin pa ko ng lagim ditetch!”
As I was driving home, kailangang maging busy ang isip ko (approximately a half hour drive from the city to my house) dahil kung hindi, mag-ma-Mayon Volcano ang chorvaloo ko. I played the song, “Waray-Waray” by Eartha Kitt on the way home. I was singing along para talagang makalimutan kong ebakchina effect na ang na-fi-feel ko. Paulit-ulit ko siyang pinatugtog – - almost 50 times yata.. para malibang ako. Sa isip ko, “Pauwiin mo lang ako ng walang galos, I will blog about you Eartha!!!”
Awa ng Diyosa ng Toiletchina, nakarating ako ng mapayapa sa balay at nakaraos ng mariwasa. Thank you Eartha Kitt!! Aliw na aliw ako dahil talagang ayokong machorva sa lonta ko no?!
