Gabby Concepcion’s father dies
PEP just received a report that actor Gabby Concepcion’s father, Mr. Rollie Concepcion, had passed away. According to a news report on Bandila, Gabby’s father died at around 8:30 p.m. tonight, September 23, in Lourdes Hospital. He was 72.
The Concepcion patriarch had been sick for a few years now because of enlarged heart. In an interview, Gabby said that his father cannot be operated anymore because almost all of his arteries are clogged.
One of the reasons why Gabby returned to the Philippines after 13 years of living in the United States is to see his father again. Mr. Concepcion had been known to be the driving force to his son’s showbiz career.
Mr. Rollie Concepcion’s remains will be brought to Montessori Chapel at P. Guevarra St., San Juan City.
