One of the best weddings I’ve been to in years.
I went to my neighbor’s wedding last week. I was more than surprised about this wedding that anything else. It was unexpectedly one of the best weddings I have ever been to in a very long time. The wedding was held at the Philadelphia Downtown Club, a structure that has been a private club for gathering of the elites since 1897. In 1995, the Club was transformed to a full service catering and conference center open to the public. The place is still in exquisite condition and you can actually see the history on the walls.
My neighbor has her own business. She’s in the bridal and prom dresses business. You could just imagine how beautiful her wedding gown was. She’s a buyer for several bridal and gown retailers and she is really doing well. If you had gone to this wedding, you know that they went all out. The cocktail hour started 10 minutes after the wedding. The wedding literally took just 10 minutes. We had all kinds of hors d’ oeuvres including escargot in garlic oil which I love. I will be posting pictures of the wedding soon. You will be amazed how much fun we had at that wedding. My maid will tell you on her blog I’m sure. It was definitely a blast.
