Brothers & Sisters - Have you ever watched it?
I have been on a Brothers & Sisters DVD marathon since last week. I really love that show and no one can pry me away from the tube if I’m watching. I just get myself a glass of wine (or two) and watch the DVDs. I have been sleeping late every night because I cannot stop when an episode ends. I need to find out what happens next. I am trying to get my friend into it as well. I lent him the First Season while I started the Second Season last weekend. He hasn’t started watching yet because he still has all his shows that he’s following like Amazing Race, Charm School and all that.
Anyway, I was at the part now where Tommy’s wife is finally pregnant. They were excited about it and found out that they are actually having twins. They were thinking of baby names and when they found out that it’s a boy and a girl, they decided to name the boy “William”, under Tommy’s dad’s memory. I didn’t realize how important that was and why people do that but it made perfect sense. It’s a way to keep the memory of a person alive and well. People do that today and they always will. Naming your baby is really as important as the meaning behind it. I don’t know if I will ever have the chance to name a baby unless I have my own. I wonder what would be a good name for a baby girl? Hmmm.
Pregnancy could be tough too! I am now at the part where Kitty inadvertently got pregnant, while Robert McAllister is running for president. Then she suffered a miscarriage. It must be devastating for first-time would-be moms to have to go through that. They do have things that you can do to prevent miscarriage at best. Pregnancy, week by week changes so much that if you’re not careful, could definitely affect the baby’s health. There is so much drama on the show it’s so realistic that I can’t stop watching! Going to disc number two, Season Two - tonight.
