The Sharon Cuneta for First Lady 2010 Campaign
The U.S. made history in voting the first African-American President. Not by a small margin as we all know, but by a landslide. What do I think about it? I think people are really hungry for change. The change we need is not only local but global. The United States’ display of the power of democracy reverberated around the globe. It reassured everyone that “We, The People” still rocks. The excitement of having President-Elect Obama’s family in the White House is exciting to all of us. It has been compared the “The Kennedy’s” just because of his youth and his young family.
I don’t really meddle a lot in politics and I don’t have the proper authority to campaign for anyone. I do know that the Philippines need change. The government needs to be re-invigorated to do things right. I know that the election in 2010 seems too far away but it is not. If you are looking to be a candidate for the 2010 election, you should be getting your ducks in a row now.
So who does Chuva Chienes support and would like to endorse? I would like to endorse Francisco “Kiko” Pangilinan. I don’t know much about him and I know that it’s not my place to judge. All I know is that Sharon Cuneta has the reputation for honesty and sincerity. The woman behind the next President must have those qualities. Why do I think so? Dahil, reputasyon din ni Sharon Cuneta ang nakataya kung hindi successful ang Presidency ni Kiko. Alam ko na gagawin ni Sharon ang lahat para proteksiyonan niya ang reputasyon nilang mag-anak.
On that note, I am officially endorsing Francisco “Kiko” Pangilinan for President 2010! In fact, I created a campaign video. Nothing special, nothing bold – - but I want to get the “Sharon for First Lady” campaign! Let’s get excited. Imagine na lang ninyo kung si Sharon ang First Lady naten? She can move the people. At di lang yon, shempre agawan na ang mga designers sa pagdadamit sa kanya! O diba? Huwaw!!
