There comes a time in our lives when we are caught unprepared. Whether it’s to weather a storm, or to welcome an unexpected occasion with glee. It is when we feel that we are a part of this big universe we know so little about. The past year has been quite a roller coaster with emotions. It was to say goodbye to old friends and to welcome new ones. Chuva has met so many wonderful people in 2008. From the blogosphere to her travels for work, Chuva was blessed with so much.

I write to thank everyone who supported Chuva Chienes dot com in 2008. We will have more surprises for you this coming year – much more scandalous and juicy gossips! Please note however that this site is for pure fun and entertainment only. I don’t intend to belittle or offend anyone. It is what it is.

To my Filipino supporters (still the number one readers of this blog!), maraming salamat po. Hindi po ako magiging Chuva Chienes without all of you. Sa mga pagtawag pansin sa concerns para sa ating mga mamamayan, sa cheezmizang katakot-takot tungkol sa ating local celebrities, at paminsan minsang pagsulat ng nagaganap sa aking buhay.

I am welcoming 2009 with so much positive thoughts in my head that I feel I’m about to explode. Blessings abound and one more thing I’m blessed with is going into 2009 with a heart filled with love from my family, my friends, my blogger friends and most of all – DA WHO? (You know who you are.) To say that my heart is filled with gladness is an understatement. Change has come. It’s time to throw away the negative thoughts we have in our minds.
