Anna Nicole Smith’s tombstone
She celebrated her life. Someone who lived an “I-don’t-give-a-flyin-fart-about-what-they-think” life. It worked for the best and yet it also contributed to her demise. Anna Nicole Smith’s gravetone (6×5 foot black granite monument) , which was commissioned by her daughter’s father, Larry Birkhead is now in place at Anna and her son’s grave in the Bahamas.
Apparently, there was an unveiling ceremony attended by none other than Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern.
The gravestone bears her son (Daniel) and her name including his billionaire husband, J. Howard Marshall. According to TMZ.com, a portion of the late Mr. Marshall’s ashes is buried in the same site.

Hahaha! Latest cheezemax to da max. During the “Tough Ten” questions segment on the BUZZ where Karylle was on the hot seat, she breezed through all of the questions except when she was asked the last and final question. The final question was ““I know you have nothing to do with this pero sabi ko nga kasama ka sa kwentong ito, sa iyong pagkakaalam, Karylle, buntis ba si Marian Rivera?””
Her answer? Simply a “SMILE” – almost insinuating that the question posed had some truth to it.
Then, it appeared that Marian Rivera was offended by this gesture of Karylle’s on her “Tough 10 Questions” that she had to make a comment stating that she was hurt by Karylle’s “non-response-smile” because of its implications. She said, ““Na-hurt ako sa kanya dahil kung ako ang tatanungin ng ganoong katanungan, ang isasagot ko, ‘Wala po akong alam diyan’ o ‘Wala po ako sa posisyon na sumagot diyan.’ Nagkaroon ng malisya ang pag smile-smile niya. Inaamin ko, na-hurt ako.”

“Simbang Gabi” begins… what do we do here in the US?
I came home from church today and the pastor announced that there will be a Filipino Misa de Gallo celebration starting tomorrow at 5:30 a.m. The Monsignor is Irish, very friendly, very holy and I love listening to his homily. He said tonight that Filipinos contribute a lot to the community including the celebration of the Simbang Gabi here in our little town in New Jersey.
When Christmas comes around, US around the globe thinks of their relatives back home. And the best part is, even the “balikbayan box” content is very cultural. It is embedded in our tradition. That is why I’d like to share with you a funny video created by our very own Happy Slip. It may be funny but it is true. This is what we do….

First of all, to all the readers out there who do not know who I am, I am Chuva Chienes. I am the author of this blog. However you look at it, the blog simply has evolved and became a Celebrity blog by chance and not by choice. It wasn’t meant to be focused on celebrities and gossips. It evolved that way because in the beginning, I was looking for ways to increase traffic on this blog. I was trying every SEO trick imaginable. My loyal readers know that I am an avid fan of Sharon Cuneta. For me, she has remained Sharon Cuneta for over 25 years because she is who she is. A public figure who has endured the challenges of life under public scrutiny and yet survived. She raised a wonderful daughter (KC Concepcion) whom I absolutely adore as well. There are two more beautiful girls (Frankie and Miel) she is raising now and I do hope that they turn out to be as good and generous as their older sister.
Sharon Cuneta is not foreign to politics. After all, her father (Pablo Cuneta) was the Mayor of Pasay City for four decades. Although known not to meddle in politics, she eventually married Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan in 1998. He is currently the Majority Leader of the Philippine Senate. He was first elected Senator in 2001 and re-elected again in 2007.

I was reading the paper this morning and saw that Clay Aiken has found a man. His name is Reed Kelly. A guy he met while he was doing Spamalot on Broadway, and Reed was a dancer on the popular broadway show Wicked.
I guess that’s the first thing you have to do when you come out.. because if you don’t find a man – - then, they’ll think you’re a loser. Haha! Of course I’m kidding.

Today, Christmas has arrived for me. <^meow^>
Sobrang aliw ko sa blogging a year and a half ago. I really enjoyed it lalo na nung pariwara pa ang Pepe and Pilar sa Pasay. Panay gibsung ng datung ng walang katapusan. Enjoy na enjoy ako dahil may extra income ka na – - may chorva ka pa?! Anong chorva?
Well, I met these wonderful people through the blog of Reyna Elena. Marami sila. Ang mga natitira na naging good friends ko na rin ay sina Pusa, Malen, at Bluep. Kaaliw yang mga baliw na yan. Kung alam ninyo lang, dahil sa Reyna (nung mayaman pa siya), nakakausap ko sa phone yang mga yan. Ang si-sweet ng mga boses, parang mga anghel. We had funny conversations and the one thing that is good with the friendship I’ve gained from them is that we have each other’s email. Kaya yung mga nakikita ninyo rito, wala yun. Mga windangan lang namin yun dito but in truth, sa emails namin seryoso kami. We talk about love, life, and anything under the sun.

I, for one do not know Kiko as close as Angeli would. However, I would vouch for Kiko only because I know that deep in the heart of hearts of both Sharon Cuneta and KC Concepcion, Kiko is worthy and will do everything in his power to create the change that we are all hoping for in our beloved country.

Marc Jacobs, who has designed a line of items for Louis Vuitton in honor of the late designer Stephen Sprouse, shows off the concept in a nude photo for Harper’s Bazaar shot by Terry Richardson.
WWD reports: “Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton are paying homage to Stephen Sprouse. To show their admiration for the late designer and artist, next month, Jacobs, Vuitton’s creative director, is using his hit 2001 collaboration with Sprouse for a new, limited edition collection of accessories and ready-to-wear. Jacobs even doffed his duds again, posing in the nude painted in Sprouse’s graffiti for Harper’s Bazaar’s January issue.”
KC Concepcion attends the Clinton Global Initiative in Hong Kong
Nasa Hong Kong ngayon si KC Concepcion para dumalo sa Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), na gaganapin sa December 2 and 3. Kaninang 10 a.m., December 1, umalis si KC at tinapos lang niya ang Artists Fair sa Mall of Asia kagabi.
Ang objective ng CGI is “to promote innovative solutions to addressing hunger and malnutrition in Asia, especially children.” Bagay si KC dito dahil siya ang UN World Food Programme Philippines National Ambassador Against Hunger mula pa noong February 2008.
Maaalalang pumunta na si KC sa Pikit, Cotabato at Lanao del Sur para sa World Food Programme. Nakukuwento ng singer-actress kung paano siya naaapektuhan sa mga nakikitang bata na walang makain at kung meron man ay kulang. For today’s 20th anniversary of World AIDS Day, the U2 frontman and all-around good guy is helping launch (RED)WIRE, a music-themed site to benefit the cause.

And he’s getting some help from a few all-star pals.

I was in bad shape so much during the summer that I decided to hire a trainer to help me get back on track. I used to go to the gym three times a week – cardio and weight training. Somehow, when I started back in school, I lost all motivation. Working full-time and going to school can take all of your time. Not to mention homeworks that come with it.Well, you all know my trainer. JOSHKO is the 19-year old trainer who actually knows how to motivate his client.
