Are you ready for the dreaded occasion? VALENTINE’S DAY??
Yes – SINGLE LADIES – - it’s that time again. The occasion dreaded by many singles out there – - Valentine’s Day.
I was in that state last year. My ex-boyfriend and I broke up the summer before after four years of being together. That was the first year I was “single” again for V’ Day. I used to have grand celebrations of this day. Check out my post from the year 2007.
Last year, I opted to treating myself at a SPA, and loving MYSELF. I didn’t want to nor I expected to find someone else right away after the break up. And besides, I was enjoying the time I have with MYSELF.
Unexpectedly, I met someone late last year. , and it’s going strong. At least I think so. We’ve ran into a few bumps already but we’ve gotten through it. This could be difficult because we are thousands of miles apart. We both keep asking ourselves, “Why did we even think this is possible?” I hope he knows exactly how I feel. Lately, it hasn’t seemed that way.
Honestly, I’ve always believed that it WAS impossible until I met him. I guess time will prove us wrong. We are going to meet in person (*Finally), in May of this year. Crossing my fingers!
If you’re single – don’t despair. It is the time that you think about YOU. You are worth it.
Here are a few things you can do for yourself this Valentine’s day…
- Treat yourself to a massage
- Treat yourself to a facial, pedicure and manicure
- Make a weekend getaway with your SINGLE friends and have a blast
- Go to the SPA with your sister or mom and bond.
At mga ditse — hindi dapat malongkot (pahiram Malen), because you should learn to love yourself first before someone else can love you. Kung single ka – - mahalin mo ang sarili mo. At kung may partner ka naman… eh hindi mo kailangan advice ko.. HAHA!
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
Sana may magpadala sa kin ng cake.
