The list of Presidentiables 2010 (Philippines)
Ayan na mga ditse, nilabas na ang shortlist ng mga haka hakang tatakbo raw as candidate for President of the Philippines in 2010. Hindi ko nakita sa list ang ating ina-asahang Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan or Mar Roxas whom I’ve heard through the grapevine, is supposedly running as well. Sir Kiko did mention that he is mulling over running as an Independent for Vice-President instead. Hmmmm… puwede pa kaya siyang mag change ng mind? I mean, the list is quite crazy.
Before anything else, there’s good news. Approved na raw ng Congress ang budget for automated polls for the 2010 elections. Tapos na ang mga linggo-linggong bilangan, dayaan, at paghihintay ng resulta (habang nagbabayad yung iba sa chorva-chorvang mga voters) etc. etc. Therefore, there is a chance that they could bring back the credibility of a democratic election in the Philippines. Who knows? I sincerely hope na gamitin ang automation to stop fraud talaga. Pero, ang dami na raw kumokontra (as in di naman daw kailangan, baka naman daw ma-hack lang yung system chever chever!) Hmmmf! Anovey?
Heniwey, here’s the list in no particular order. We will have a poll at the end of the post to see if you are to vote today – kung ngayon ka boboto, sino ang iboboto mo galing sa listahang ito? Sa totoo lang, nagulat din ako sa listahan. Kaya, maupo kayo habang binabasa ninyo.

Ngayon mga ditse, sa listahang ito – may mapipili ka ba na sa palagay mo ay magbibigay halaga sa pagbabago ng ating gobyerno? Pagbabago ng buhay ng Pilipino? Ikauunlad ng Pilipinas? I am a bit skeptical although I haven’t really studied each candidate’s CV just yet. I need to know what they stand for before I can choose. I am going to do that soon. I will DEFINITELY NOT VOTE for Joseph Estrada. Come on people!!! Wake up and smell the freaking coffee.

all presidentiables may have some stock shares with all this big companies existing in this beloved country of ours. would they be in favor of supporting filipino inventions that would lessen the demand for crude oil,importation of rice, and alleviate the peso rate versus the us dollar same as the ramon magsaysay era?could they make the street safe and quiet like the days when manny pacquiao has big fights in boxing. who has the political will to finish all pending projects and promises for mindanao?whoever has the capacity and integrity to sign a law against nepotism,public bidding to be televised for transparancy,and the law against politician putting their faces on billboard and expressing that they were the one who done such bridge or roads rather than putting the amount used on the projects and the time table of project completion. this are few of my views and the bottomline who is the one with the patriotism as Dr. Jose Rizal?

I agree. Sya lang ang dapat pagkaisahan ng opposition. Dati na syang lider nila at lider hanggang ngayon. Nasa kanya lahat ng kailangan ng bansa ngayon at bukas.
To all – I really liked what I saw in Mayor Binay.. specially in Makati. “Ganito kami sa Makati!” campaign was surprising to me.
I asked people around and they did say that the ad is true. Free school supplies sa Makati, Free medical care sa Makati..blah blah blah.
If the Filipino people could believe it and it’s true, I have no problems with Mayor Binay to run for President. I’m sure he’ll get a lot of support.

I’d rather go for either Noli de Castro or Chiz Escudero bcoz I know they will raise the Philippine economy from falling.
do you still remember when noli de castro was still with magandang gabi bayan?he is very critical about the politicians who are corrupt or not doing their job…banat siya nang banat pero ngayon that he is now with one if not the most corrupt administration we ever had,he doesnt even say anything.i hope they will play the tapes during the campaign so the people will come to know who he is.

You did not include Nicanor Perlas. He is a real alternative, as he has never been in the tainted field of politics. I no longer want to just choose the lesser evil. I want a real choice. There are others who will allude that they are the change this country needs and they will paint you picturesque images of honor and virtue. But you see through people. These are mere packaging, cover-ups, pretty wrapping. Nick Perlas’ integrity is without question. He lives and breathes it, conscious about each thought, word, feeling and act, and its power in the world.
