i know I’m a bit too late in posting this but the performance was sooo awesome, I had to do it even though it is late. Louis Vuitton Lover Blogger FB with the 4 Divas

Okay, let’s get past the “Howcome I didn’t get invited?” bitterness question.  Ha!  My good friend, FB (the blogger behind I LVoe Louis Vuitton) recently attended the “Divas 4 Divas” concert in Washington, DC.  I missed the event since I had visitors at my place this weekend.  Looking at the photos FB posted on his blog, I see that they had a wonderful time.

I was going to attend the one in New Jersey but I missed that as well because of prior commitments.  Now, after seeing the pics – I regret that I didn’t watch it.   On VIP Tickets for $150.00 per person, you get to experience a meet and greet with the Divas.

Lesson Learned: Next time someone visits me again, We’ll join a TOUR if I am to take them around.

The Washington DC trip I had two weeks ago was great although we ran into a few hiccups. I remember the first trip I had to the White House – that was over twenty years ago. My sister took us there and we took pictures by the gate in front of the White House lawn. Today, post 9/11, you can still go up to the gate but there are barriers all over the place and a cop to supervise the tourists. Totally different from th way it was. I wanted to take my friend from Brazil, who was with me at the time, to the other locations I remember like the Lincoln Memorial, the Capitol, the Jefferson Memorial and the Washington Monument. It looks so close to each other but with the way the streets are designed in Washington, DC – we had a hard time finding the next spot. We got lost on every single destination.

That is why I would rather take a tour instead of doing our own tour when taking someone around. It’s less hassle and it’s more fun I think. Just like when I brought my colleague from Los Angeles to New York City. We took New York City Tours for a Shop, Hop, Top + Lunch tour and we had a blast. He got to see all of the major sites in New York City without us trying to navigate New York City by ourselves. We had additional persk such as getting into the Museum of the City of New York for free, a Harbor Cruise, a ticket to the Empire State Building observation Deck and a VIP seating at Planet Hollywood forlunch. How can you beat that? Our time in New York City was well spent and we had a blast. My friend was happy because he was able to see a lot for less time (no need to worry about getting lost if you’re in a tour). Next time I go to Washington, DC – - I’m going to pay for a tour instead of acting like a tour guide that I am not.

Am I Ready to try playing WOW this time?

I thought about my ex-boyriend over the weekend when my nieces were here. He really got along well with my nieces and my nieces adored him too! They knew how to relate to him specially when they talk about online games. I never really got into playing online games and as many times as he tried to convince me to play World of Warcraft, I still didn’t get the hang of it. I enjoyed watching him play though. He still plays with my friends to this day. On yeah, no worries, we’re still good friends. My friends tell me what’s going on with him every once in a while just to keep me up-to-date. Haha! They want us to get back together – that ‘s the agenda. Funny huh?!

My nieces and I got into talking about WoW and from what I remember from my ex, he used only purchase coins I beleve, which allows him to buy more armour or power – something to that effect. I guess it makes his characters more powerful and more able to tackle the tasks at hand. Then there are the Wow Accounts as well where the power has been built up on a character that people purchase. Those were the only things I knew about Wow. She was trying to persuade me to buy wow battle chest, which is a package of the game that includes the Burning Cruzade expansion pack. She told me to try it again and have sworn that I would like it this time around. I know that the game has evolved much more since my ex was showing me how the game is played and I do enjoy playing other online games now like Trivia and the like. Now, she’s got me thinking – - I know this isn’t comparable to a Trivia game but it could be worth trying. Should I?

Looking for Easter Gifts?

I was really ticked off last Valentine’s Day when I ordered something online via an online store (Philippine-based whom I will not name), to find out that they don’t deliver to the specific area I would like the gifts delivered days before Valentine’s Day. I had been exchanging emails with a person who didn’t or couldn’t communicate well with me whether I should order something else or cancel my order and re-order because they do not deliver cakes and foodstuff to Laguna. Needless to say, I was instructed to give her the item number I want to replace the previous order of Cakes and Chocolates so my order could be processed. I sent it to her and never heard back. My gifts didn’t arrive. In trying to request a refund, I only received a part of the money charged to my credit card. I am still in dispute with them today.

I want to send a gift to someone else here in the U.S.for Easter so I went online this morning. I was thinking that although it’s not hard to ship Cakes and foodtuff in and around the U.S., I would still stay away from sending those. I would rather be safe than sorry. And guess what I found? Did you even know that an online candy store exists? And my friend really loves themed candies. I know he’s into Gummi Bears and all and his favorite – “Jaw Breakers”. I never thought I could send these as gifts now and order them online! At least, with sending candies – I don’t run the risk of the food going bad or get an excuse that the gift couldn’t be delivered because of the time it takes to deliver a perishable item. I simply thought it was pretty cool! I’m placing my order now. I will let you guys know what happens.

Im Coming Out – Diana Ross

It’s been a little over two years now since I started this personal blog. Yes, it started out as a personal blog, only to be re-defined by KC Concepion and Ruffa Gutierrez.   Both personalities may be credited for my blog traffic over the years, and to what my “personal blog” has become.

Blogging about celebrities (or aggregating gossip news from all over the world) is not an easy feat. Your content should always be fresh and up-to-date. Missing a couple of days makes a whole lot of difference in traffic and therefore, blogging daily is a must.

Not anymore.  Chuva Chienes is changing her dress. I realized that blogging about celebrities and interesting stuff is cool provided that you don’t lose your blog’s personality in it.   I lost mine. Although, I still give thanks to the faithful readers who come daily and read my blog.   To date, I get approximately 1900 unique hits with over 3000 page views daily.   Without your faithfulness, this blog will be nothing.  Not bad ay?

Today, the mark has been made. I know that I do have a lot to say and will use this medium to do so.

The face of the blog is changing.   I am not an intellectual, or profess to be much of a teacher. I am simply Chuva Chienes.  I will write about anything that is worth talking about.

Look for more personal posts and random ramblings by the goddess of water retention in the future.  To my fellow Pinoy Gay Bloggers – - I hope to be back soon.   Tomorrow will be too late.

H.P. Lowers Bar for Printing Glossy Color Magazines – Got something to PUBLISH??? Read this…

PALO ALTO, Calif. — For anyone who has dreamed of creating his own glossy color magazine dedicated to a hobby like photography or travel, the high cost and hassle of printing has loomed as a big barrier. Traditional printing companies charge thousands of dollars upfront to fire up a press and produce a few hundred copies of a bound magazine.

With a new Web service called MagCloud, Hewlett-Packard hopes to make it easier and cheaper to crank out a magazine than running photocopies at the local copy shop.

Charging 20 cents a page, paid only when a customer orders a copy, H.P. dreams of turning MagCloud into vanity publishing’s equivalent of YouTube. The company, a leading maker of computers and printers, envisions people using their PCs to develop quick magazines commemorating their daughter’s volleyball season or chronicling the intricacies of the Arizona cactus business.

Eddie Cibrian’s Skeleton Comes Out Of The Closet

Okay, so this might not be news to some of you (Canadians especially) but I *just* found out that Third Watch/Ugly Betty hottie Eddie Cibrian (who is rumored to have had an illicit affair with Country music singer LeeAnn Rimes) and Young and the Restless star Joshua Morrow were members of a CHEESEY post-Backstreet Boys/‘NSync boy band back in the late 90’s. The group, which also featured a guy named CJ Huyer, was called 3Deep and this is what they looked like:
